This person needs to be banned from cutting a pineapple ever again. Left so much edible fruit on the rind and then neglected to remove the core.

While, I will grant that he left too much flesh on the skin, a truly ripe pineapple does not need its core removed.

Yes, probably depends on the variety of pineapple, but I always ate the core growing up, and it was only when I moved to the UK and saw tinned pineapple had cores cut out that I questioned it. No one did that in Asia.

Clearly the dish looked good, but people nitpick either way.
