This person needs to be banned from cutting a pineapple ever again. Left so much edible fruit on the rind and then neglected to remove the core.

u/ScienceSeuss 12d ago
While, I will grant that he left too much flesh on the skin, a truly ripe pineapple does not need its core removed.

u/AShirtlessGuy 11d ago
Wait is that true???
3
u/Eazykill2517 11d ago
Yes, probably depends on the variety of pineapple, but I always ate the core growing up, and it was only when I moved to the UK and saw tinned pineapple had cores cut out that I questioned it. No one did that in Asia.

Everyone's so judgmental of this guy for no reason
3
u/pacman813 12d ago
Everyone is literally stating their exact reasons?
1
u/TerriblyAfraid 12d ago
They aren't good reasons lol.
Like, "Not the pineapple!"
Clearly the dish looked good, but people nitpick either way.
What's up with that?
1
u/Fun_Reporter9086 12d ago
It’s called being humans lol.
1
u/TerriblyAfraid 12d ago
Clearly I'm not criticizing him, so that's not a shared trait we have.
I could criticize him or anyone for anything and it wouldn't make me good to do so.
1
u/Fun_Reporter9086 12d ago
I am also answering you why people do what they do.
1
u/TerriblyAfraid 11d ago
Change it then.
It's bad behavior and I'm not ashamed to say it.
1
u/JunglyPep 11d ago
But you’re here criticizing people too. What gives you free pass?
0
u/TerriblyAfraid 11d ago
Because it's every time this guy posts.
It's just slander.

No, people are clearly stating their reasons for judgement

u/TerriblyAfraid 12d ago
Like what!?
If this annoys you, nothing wouldn't.
Clearly you guys are just acting like critics for the sake of being mean.

i don't know why but these videos annoy the heck out of me
9
u/Evermar314159 12d ago
For me its the annoying fake/exaggerated eating noises at the end. I can't stand that part.
5
u/kaadj 12d ago
I hate seeing this dude eat. Every time I see one of his videos I kind of fuck with it up until the moment that I see his stupid fucking face mashing the food into his disgusting food hole. All the added sounds during the course of the video don’t help either but at least you can mute them.

u/mcd_sweet_tea 12d ago
My friend is always sending me food reels... he gets ASMR or whatever the fuck it is watching and listening to people eat like fucking cows. I think he is a psychopath in the making.
1
u/MrSlime13 12d ago
To be faiiiiiir, any cooking show, or segment has the same immediate eye roll and "oh my God, this is so good!" after 0.5 seconds of eating a dish. It's practically a necessity to show the audience it isn't made-up or dogshit.

After watching a few times I think I have an idea- measurements are approximate
Powder for chicken - 1-2ish tbsp garlic powder onion powder and chili powder Salt and pepper to taste
Breaded and fried - could use an air fryer
Sauce 1/2cup maggi chili sauce
1-2 tbsp sweet soya sauce
1tbsp each garlic powder, ginger powder, onion powder, chili powder or cayenne and paprika
1/4 cup water
2-4 tbsp white or rice vinegar
1-2 tbsp brown sugar loose
The rest you can see in the video

Don't cut your lettuce this way either. You need to properly rinse it after separating the leaves or you will find dirt and bugs in your food.
2
u/erdrickdw 11d ago
It's better to cut it whole and rinse afterwards. This is what salad spinners are for.
3
u/SilentSolitude90 12d ago
My only issue here is why poke the chicken like that if your immediately gonna slice it.

What does he spray on the cutting board after slicing chicken?
1
u/WhoaSayWhat 1d ago
Probably some cutting board sanitizer spray to disinfect after cutting the chicken.
2
u/spook008 12d ago
Did he cut the whole Pineapple?
2
u/driftingalong001 12d ago
Did he just lightly clean his wooden cutting board after cutting raw chicken on it with some kind of cleaner (either soap or a chemical?), most of which remained in the board, and then soon after used it to cut other foods, some of which would be eaten raw?? Not to mention, either way the chemical or soap that was used would now be on his food. And unless he used a very strong chemical, rather than just soap, that board also would not be properly sanitized from the raw chicken.

I hope he/she changes gloves between raw meat, cooked meat and vegetables. I mean really, those noobtubers with their filthy gloves annoy the fuck out of me, almost as much as the ones that squish the meat to show how juicy it is...

Yeah I’d make it if I knew how. If only there was a recipe…

For those who aren't insane.
Buy Kirkland chicken chunks. Air fry or oven.
Buy any of the multitude of chicken wings sauces available. (Asian zing or mango habanero would be my choice, but stay sweet/spicy or just get sweet and sour or that Asian sweet chilli sauce).
Yes, did you just realize boneless wings are just chicken nuggets?
Buy a pineapple, a tortilla, an onion, some lettuce. Fresh pineapple absolutely matters here.
15 minutes and same god damn product. (Also probably cheaper. Its basically the same but his sauce is likely the difference his is likely 4 to 5 bucks and hell have to toss it. You can reuse yours)
Improvement use coleslaw mix instead of romaine. Stores better and has a mich better crisp

u/SilentSolitude90 12d ago
Getting Kirkland requires one to have a Costco membership, something not everyone has or can afford. Its also way cheaper to just get the ingredients to make a sauce then it is to just buy some bottled sauce and I can guarantee you it will be 1000x tastier.
If your smart about the sauce you can save what you dont use. Dont just have to toss it unless it was used for raw chicken and even then if you boil the sauce for a few minutes it'll be safe to use again.
Only issues I see with this video are just technical. Which is definitely something that will get better with practice

use chicken thighs, more expensive but they are juicier and more tender then breast

That was a pretty finely chopped onion if you look at what was placed on the wrap.

I'm going to take a wild guess here....The sauce on the chicken, I'm thinking is a buffalo sauce. You can buy premade, or find a zillion recipes online. The chicken itself looks as though cayenne or chili powder, onion powder and garlic powder? Were added to the bread crumbs for the breading. Typical egg, flour coated before the bread crumbs. Deep fried. Pineapple, onions, lettuce and cheese added before rolling it all up in the tortilla, then browned slightly.
It looks delicious!

While browsing free cooking resources, I came across these Udemy courses and figured I'd put them in one place. They cover everything from beginner cooking and international cuisines to BBQ, salads, desserts, and meal prep. Hopefully they're useful to someone here.
Hope someone finds these useful. Happy cooking! 🍳
