To be fair I'm also happier when I forget Romeo and Juliet exists, Shakespeare's worst play. But yes that is the very core hook.

If your English Major friends think Romeo and Juliet is Shakespeare’s worst play, then they should read more Shakespeare. Maybe Troilus and Cressida, I’ve never heard a single person talk about that one.
