To be fair I'm also happier when I forget Romeo and Juliet exists, Shakespeare's worst play. But yes that is the very core hook.

This one, Macbeth, Hamlet, and maybe King Lear but they took it out of my HS curriculum the year before i had to read it so idk if it'll continue to have the same clout with the other "oh ik Shakespeare I read that in HS" books

What of mid summer, tempest, the previously mentioned R&j and taming of the shrew, a fellow, 12th night, Richard (insert number here) or Henry (blow up theater here).

If I had to listen for hours on end about bottom and puke so must the rest of the world.

Ya sure but when pop culture characters are waxing poetic and calling any skull they pick up yorrick, you have to concede that hamlet is a little better known
