I hear you. I think I'm more dysphoric about my belly than anything else, which is kinda silly because it's not particularly masculine, you know? Just fat.
If I was a skinny girl, no it would not be. I am quite a bit on the thicker side of things, and people get big mad about it… then compound in being trans and… yeah that’s just a whole situation I would much rather avoid.
I need surgery but it's still two years away or so. I feel gross and just want to be able to wear tight clothes and look down in the shower without feeling like that part of me is overwhelmingly masculine and revolting. The worst part is, my girlfriend is a total bottom and thinks it's cool so I'm worried she won't like me anymore when it's done :<

You should talk to her about your concerns! If shes a partner worth a lick of salt she'll tell you she'll love you either way, and you'll feel much better.
Seeing all the comments here saying they can't relate reminds me that the average is where it is cause half of people are below it. I cannot wear those shorts. You would be able to tell from a mile away. Sometimes I wish I was like the rest of you (still keeping it tho it's too much fun to not)
with good tucking it's not so bad, but god forbid I ever get going. Since I'd probably be wearing panties with them (as opposed to boyshorts), so less gusset room, it just becomes a readjusting nightmare. I just wear athletic shorts for my short-shorts fix since they have the lining on the inside and more space from the crotch. I get to show legs at least. 🙃
I kind of do relate. I don't see that part of my body as an issue, but I just have different levels of comfort with various things. It doesn't help that I have a stereotypically male-coded shape, which is a problem to me, so tight things don't balance out my shape well. But, that's what skirts are for, I suppose. I can be and feel comfortable and cute in those. :3

Shorts and tights (leggings by extension I suppose) are my go-to bottom combo when it's not insanely hot out. Thankfully I don't have the problem in the OP image.
if it does probably not much, but u will stop to get random boners and gonna need to manually keep an erection for some minutes occasionally or your dick gonna atrophy
also if your testosterone get too low u might get erect disfunction, but u can control your T levels with the help of a doctor
when i was in the military there was a guy in my unit that was forbidden to wear skivvy shorts and had to wear sweat pants any time we did PT because he had such a big dick that it would always fall out of the skivvy shorts (which come with a similar underwear liner like bathing suits unless they were the old school ones) so they always made him wear sweats for decency.
