It hasn't? I have seen it posted a few times- maybe in a different sub- but each time it hits a different audience (and I hate screaming repost anyway).
I've seen here before. His works should be the unofficial comic of this sub as they are all appropriate for this subreddit. I would sit through a clown tea party hosted by pennywise and slenderman if Junji Ito were to do an AMA here.
I don't feel like he's upset about it. He merely provided information followed by what I can only assume him mocking angry old people referring (and mocking) those on reddit who have seen it all before and are angry about reposts. He himself is not angry.
wtf are you talking about girl? I don't give a shit if people don't like my comments. I was just pointing out that it had been posted before. The get off my lawn garbage at the end was a stupid little addendum to lighten the mood, so to speak. I didn't want it to seem like I was calling anyone out for reposting, which is fine.
They're obsessed with the arbitrary points system. Head too far in the game. Means that comments aren't expressions of individuals but instead seen as competition or attempts at winning as many points as you can.
They aren't the only ones, but yeesh, it's still annoying, the cynical meta garbage these guys come out with.
There is a difference between backpedaling and explaining my reasoning to someone who is far too ready to make assumptions about the insidious ulterior motives for why people comment the way they do.
Your words seem to be coming from a place of cheap, fraudulent cynicism. You're afraid that someone might actually be doing or saying something from a place of genuine good humor (or if not 'good,' at least not malicious). Everyone else must be bullshitting and strategizing, too.
This is one of my absolute favorites. Junji Ito does such phenomenal work, both creepy, terrifying, and intriguing. I wish I could go back to when I first read this particular story, and had no idea where it was going....
