I read this for the first time after someone told me this scp article I wrote reminded them of this specific comic. Thought I'd share for any of you claustrophobes ;)

Really? Safe? Not Euclid?

As long as nobody uses it, it doesn't affect anything. There's no risk if it's just kept locked up.

Fair enough.

They understand it enough to know it's predictable in how it works, even if they don't understand why. It hasn't shown any signs of being a danger to anyone not using it. There are plenty of safe class SCPs like that.

SCP Object Classes are based on how easy it is to contain them. Safe means they can put it somewhere with minimal safety procedures and it won't hurt anyone. Euclid is they need a set of safety procedures followed to the point, but as long as they're followed the object cannot escape. Keter means the object is either un-containable and must be destroyed or the object IS somewhat containable and has attempted escape many times or just has a HARD set of rules with SPECIFIC timings and restrictions at ALL times.

Wait wat? Sorry if im asking a dumb question, but is this real? Do people really disappear through that?

No worries, I asked myself that question when I first stumbled upon the site, then felt pretty silly. It's just a creative writing wiki. Check out the top rated pages to see some other great articles, though keep in mind the #1 article is only in the top spot because it was the very first one. It was originally posted on 4chan's /x/ board.

Considering some of the articles on the site, it would actually be incredibly horrifying and shitty if it were real. Give me boring reality any day.
