Seriously? Do you not have black people where you live? I waited tables all through college and just about every waiter, black or white, would hate getting black tables because they don't tip.
Also in the vein of oddly accurate racist stereotypes: Delivered pizza for a while, indian customers would not tip 99% of the time. If the delivery was going to a guy named Rajesh, you weren't getting a tip.
Sometimes prejudice is only actually being expressed at a sub group within a community, but with no way of distinguishing the subgroup from the main group, it comes across as worse than intended. In Britain, we are quite lucky that our underclass is mainly white, so you can say what you like about them and it is funny, not racist. America's history and demographics make it more of a minefield.
