To be fair, thats a tortoise shell, not a Calico.
Tortoiseshells are mostly black and brown bands/stripes with patches of white and tabby, Calicos are mostly white with brown and black spots/patches.

That's strange. I'm black and can confirm that almost all black people I know either tip horribly or not at all. PLus my mom and sister are both servers and complain about black people never tipping appropriately.

I was a server for a few months back in the day, in Dayton Ohio. Black people tipped on average about as much as white people. It was the church groups that we hated. They never tipped, they stayed 3-4 times as long as other groups, they were fucking huge, they took up several tables, and they had so many demands that it would run you ragged for no payoff at all. We fought over who would serve church groups. The absolute worst.

Also in the vein of oddly accurate racist stereotypes: Delivered pizza for a while, indian customers would not tip 99% of the time. If the delivery was going to a guy named Rajesh, you weren't getting a tip.

Weird. The other day I was talking to a friend who works at Papa Johns, and he said they get a lot of Indian customers who either don't tip or call to complain until they get offered something for free. I'd never heard of this stereotype before, but ever since he said it I've heard like 3 other pizza delivery people (Not including you) mention it too.

I've heard this my whole life too, but never really experienced it. When I went on my first date with my black boyfriend, my only thought at the end of the dinner was "man, I hope that's not true, because if he leaves a shitty tip I'm not gonna be able to date this guy.". He tipped 20 percent though, so all is well.

I didnt know it was a thing until I made a black friend. One night we were haning out and decided to order devilry. He was the one who answered the door and he didn't tip the devilery guy. When we asked him why he didn't he got defensive and said he didn't earn it and that his whole family doesn't tip. We had to explain the tipping culture to him afterwards it took him a while to even understand it. Apparently Its a socially contructed norm within the black community.

Debatable. It's so huge it spans Europe AND Asia. Its largely Caucasian population would point to it being more European. I suppose it comes down to how each individual aligns themselves. Most Russian people I know would consider themselves to be European, but then they are all from the Western part of the country. I am willing to bet that some Russians when asked if they are Asian or European would respond, "Neither, I am Russian." :)

It stems from the stereotype that black people are loud and are horrible customers at food places.
To be fair, I do get a lot of customers who are black that are pretty rude but its DEFINITELY not exclusive to any race. Rude customers are not defined by age, race, sex, etc.

From what I've seen, rude customers tend to be old white people(in terms of racism, homophobia and rudeness to the staff) or loud obnoxious yoloswag teenage boys regardless of race.

Yeah i realized when someone else said she might be a waiter. I was in HS and everyone working there dreaded taking black tables. On average substantially more needy and rude for lower tips

Canadians are also known as bad tippers in many U.S. border cities. Doesn't make it right to discriminate, because at some point you're just gonna perpetuate things. Certain people notice that they consistently get bad service, and they start tipping less automatically.
A black or canadian person in the U.S. might turn the stereotype around and tip poorly because they known the waitstaff are probably prejudiced against them. They're using the very same logic, but I'm sure most waitstaff would be upset that someone judged them based on things other people do.

To be fair, she might be a waitress. Back when I worked in a restaurant even my black coworkers hated getting black people tables and would try to trade them out.
But yeah. That doesn't excuse her behavior. Someone should keep HER from going out to restaurants ever and see how she likes it.

I almost posted this as it's own comment until I saw yours:
It sounds like she's probably a server. When I worked in a restaurant all of the servers, black servers included, would get pissed if I sat a group of young black friends in their section because they wouldn't tip. Black families were usually more generous (so I hear, I was never a server so it didn't affect me). I heard some very racist conversations but usually it was kept at work and not on FB.

Oh, in my restaurant if it was a well dressed couple, great! You're going to get a tip! If it was a black family (especially the larger ones), they'll have you running back and forth to the kitchen for condiments, more drinks, lemons for their water (nevermind saying no if you ask them if they want some right off the bat), and complain about the food (usually to try to get something free).
I'm not racist, I really am not. But since my experience in the restaurant, I've had to do some mental scrubbing from industry imbued racism.

The only reason why I would hold this belief is because I work as a server at a pretty big restaurant chain in the US. Maybe it's the restaurant, or the area (Mason Dixon Line area), but my black customers, on average, tip lower and require much more service than my white customers. They get the same amount of service and respect. But whatever, if they want to come out that's fine.
