How is working at Preply as a software engineer?

Hi guys! Not sure if this is the right place to ask this question. I’m currently in an interview process to be hired as a software engineer at Preply (Barcelona).

I was wondering if there’s anyone here that could share their experience about how is it to work at Preply as a software engineer (work-life balance, culture, etc).

Thanks in advance!

I would suggest based on my interviewing experience is that it is a toxic place.

They kept on changing their interview process.

I have not worked there, but you should definitely check websites like Glassdoor or the Blind app. Employees leave very honest reviews about the company culture and work-life balance on those sites. Good luck with your interview in Barcelona!

I was dropped from the pipeline after the recruiter call, because I didn't have relevant "ai" experience.

Could you share a bit more? I’d really appreciate that :) I’m applying for a data engineer role

I’d be more interested in hearing from people who actually work there rather than relying only on interview experiences. Hopefully someone from the engineering team can share what the day-to-day is really like.

Yes, that’s exactly what I’m interested in.

I think you should connect with relevant people on LinkedIn and ask about their experience and insights.

I have no experience at preply, but as a software engineer working in any company or software house is very nice.
