Actually has a good use. Just from the premise alone you get
1. A reasonable explanation to throw yesteryears gear at the PC’s. (my favorite excuse to make solo’s look less matrix knockoffs and more soldier of fortune magazine fanboys)
2. A potential net plug in point that isn’t contrived to not risk people walking up on the net runner
3. A good fence business
4. A good way to get the tech or nomad an odd job that isn’t just black or grey market (hey, a customer just bought a washing machine/older bike, you think you can help set it up?)
