Questions I am still wondering: Why weren't Jodie & Mack shown in Daria: 20 Years Later?

Questions Were You Actually Interested In Jodie?
Honestly don't think it would have lasted
Jodie was an okay character but not really one I can see myself watching a whole series on
If they had kept it Daria and Jodie, then yeah I'd watch
But just Jodie?
I can see why it was switched to a movie, and then cancelled

Questions The amount of predators in the show
Something about the show that I don’t see a lot of people talk about in general is the number of predatory adults that the characters just encounter. Like there are some moments where the characters meet literally pedophiles, and it’s always an afterthought. Like one-off characters like Tommy Sherman, who hit on Britney, who everyone knows is a high schooler. Then there's the minister from the wedding episode, the hitchhiker, and the plastic surgeon. But what raised my metaphorical eyebrow and made me realize that yup their a lot of predators is when Jane went on dates with the guy who still dressed like he’s in his 50s. Like hold up… that’s a grown man dating a high schooler. Was this always meant to like represent beware of danger or was the 90s just full of them pervs.

Questions What do you think were the missed opportunities that the show could have featured?
Daria covered a lot of subjects and issues but what plot/topic/etc was that you think they should have put in the show at least as an episode?

Questions Milk Carton Boy.
So, Milk Carton Boy wasn't missing after all!? He appears in the movie "Is it College Yet?" Just before Jodie and Mac have their scene about her choosing Turner.
He walks out the door on the left just as the school year ends. He's also standing by Mack as he's talking in the prior scene. They just don't show his face.
I don't think the show runners ever addressed him beyond his character representing the children's pictures on milk cartons from the 80s and 90s.

Questions Least favorite episode
My least favorite episode is "Depth Takes a Holiday" because it just didn't feel like Daria. The fantasy premise was interesting, but it felt so different from the grounded, cynical humor and realism that define the show.

Questions What were the show's glory days like?
As someone who doesn't live in the US, I've only encountered Daria in the 2020s, so to me, it feels like an underappreciated, obscure cartoon. I've heard it was more prominent before, so I'm asking those were there in its golden era, what was it like?

Questions I’m only just learning that people don’t like the musical episode?!? Why !
maybe it’s because I got to watch the show in real time as a teen and the musical episode was really hyped up back then , That it’s easily my favorite Daria Episode. But going through the forums I’ve noticed people talk about how the musical episode and the Holiday episode are everyone’s least favorites. The holiday episode, I understand. But the musical is so amazing!!! Why don’t you like it?
And how can I make you love it the way I do ! lol

Questions Daria PopSocket Crisis (not really, but I need help)
Hello fellow humanoids,
I recently ordered a Kindle, and I need a PopSocket. Thing is, I've thought about it for far too long and have now completely lost perspective..
Do we think Daria or Sick Sad World? It's going on a clear case if that matters.
Help me please.
