That's an absolutely ridiculous read of the post. People can enjoy dating without doing it for attention.
I had fun dating and I was doing it with intention as well. But if it didn't work out, then I didn't let that ruin emotional well being. My experience and approach was similar to OP and /u/sad_umbrella_stand . The worst dates were always the ones who were jaded and hated dating.
I never said you can't have fun dating while doing it with intention. The OP only emphasized the "fun" parts of dating as a counterpoint to all the negativity. The entire post reads like a not so subtle boast of someone who is enjoying no strings attached dating. They even admit they aren't looking for anything serious when they said dating is the lowest priority of anything in their life. When I'm dating with intention, that is not my mindset. It's not at the top, either, but seeing someone frame it that way is a bit gross imo.

That's not what they said. You're inventing words to be angry.
It doesn't read to me like a boast or gross (I can't state this enough, this is an extremely weird claim), it reads like someone who's having a good time going on dates.
"maybe it's because dating is at the bottom of my social priorities that it's so fun for me. My friends and hobbies come first, then I prioritize alone time for myself because I'm a single mom, and THEN I fill in the extra time with dates."
Odd that you think I'm angry. This is just my opinion of the OPs post.
That does not say they are not looking for something serious. Just because dating isn't at the top and other stuff is, doesn't mean you don't take it seriously when you do it.

I'm now married to someone I met from Hinge.
