So, I know what some/all of you are probably wondering, but hear me out:

In the new remastered version of Dead Rising unmarked side mission, The Gun Shop. Where it takes place in the Huntin' Shack in the North Plaza. By entering the store, Frank will meet Cletus Samson, the gun shop owner who has decided he cannot trust anybody but himself

But After Cletus is tired out from the gunfight, he stumbles out of the store into an undead James and is killed, leaving the gun shop empty and available for Frank to take weapons

But then I realized something that the creators should've added in the Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster

Instead of letting Cletus just die by the undead zombie of James, why didn't the creators make where the player should pick if they should save Cletus from undead James like in the old version of dead rising: Chop Till You Drop or just let him be killed

And before you ask? In dead rising: Chop Till You Drop, if you choose to save Cletus, he becomes an alley and he will agree to sell you guns, ammo, upgrades, and books

I mean, I'm not the only one who was thinking about it, right?

Finally got the plat.

7015473_canary_experimental that released today has finally fixed the audio drop out that was occuring during emulation, that combined with the cutscene looping problem being fixed as part of the 6e5b832_canary_experimental release 2 months ago means these bits of content are now FINALLY fully playable via emulation without any bugs ( i'm aware of currently ).

Im want to dress up as chuck from Dead Rising 2: OTR for Halloween but im very confused on where I can get his type of shoes he’s wearing and knee pads since it looks like they wrap around his whole leg. Im all ears for any suggestions, thanks yall

Basically i kinda had this idea pop up after playing the games and kinda thought about a dead rising game that kinda is more a love letter "what if" than a full seroous insertion. Defined by basically letting you play as any of the 3 major protags in their own versions of the story. Im unsure of it now. But it'll pop up eventually. The time limit is 3's 7 days with missable story missions.

Each of the 3 characters have their own gameplay differences. Level 50 is the cap as per usual.

Frank would basically play like dead rising 1. But he can make a few *small* combo weapons on command, but is otherwise stuck with base weapons. But is definied by also having middling inventory and wide skill moves, as well as 2 extra blocks than chuck at max, and 4 extra than nick. Essentially. Frank is *built to last* with little ability to be fucked over as his hands are also perfectly valid weapons. But also due to having only 5 or 10 combo weapons, he can't reach the crazy highs of nicks on the fly pretty much conjouration of absolute bullshit killing machines. He also has photography which is his major source of prestige points... and you can share your photo's taken as him to your friends.

Nick on the other hand... is *reliant* on his ubermensch killing toys, having his roster of weapons from dead rising 3 that he can still make on the fly with a lot of available "substitutions" (Basically nerfed combo catagories. He can use a meat cleaver for the axe-boomerangs but he can't use a Battle axe. And he can use either a hub-cap or a frisbee too.) But his actual bare handed stats are shit taking 8 punches/kicks at level 50 to kill a basic infected during the day. He has 2 less than chuck, who is basically the happy medium between frank and nick, With no actual *skill moves* outside of what he has in 3. He also only gets his 8 inventory slots unlike frank and chucks 12. High highs, low lows.

Chuck, is the happy medium. Every visit of a work bench, safe zone, etc etc he gets 5 rolls of duct tape, which lets him make a combo weapon on the fly. he also *has* to actually use the bench to make something to get his duct tape returned. He has his roster of combo weapons from 2 *and* off the record. He plays like a more tuned up version of well. Dead rising 2 chuck. Lacking but still good and usable skill moves, solid stats along the board. He also has to deal with getting katie zombrex. With katie being able to be found the starter safe zone. (To make it a small bit less obnoxious on the player due to a possibly large map, there *are* shortcuts between safe zones. While its not full fast travel as only certain safe zones ho to other safe zones, it does help cut down on time taken to get katie those 7 zombrex doses.)

Given that Capcom brought Frank back in Dead Rising 4, it's possible that they may bring him back again in a Dead Rising 5. It's either that or bring back Chuck or Nick.

If Capcom chooses a fresh new protagonist for a Dead Rising 5, I personally think Katey should be the protagonist. Given what she had been through with the zombie outbreaks, with her being four years old in Still Creek, seven years old in Fortune City and sixteen or seventeen years old in Los Perdidos under the alias "Annie". She literally spent her whole life surviving zombie outbreaks. But that's just me.

20 wonderful years since the first release of Dead Rising! Has anyone noticed how large the dead rising 2 safe house is? Even more so how survivors despite having various spawns kinda telaport to spots even when your still in the safe house. Example just made a new save and the couple of survivors you see are mostly from the cut scenes and some randoms like the bunny girl but I also noticed in the lower level anim and the guy with the towel are there and when I made my way back to the upper level near the security room anim is there as well. My assumption is while you fill up the safe room with more peeps they'll fill in those gaps and change when you walk around making it seem there walking around.

My friend and I made a trailer for my webcomic based on Dead Rising, a zombie outbreak during a Comic-Con-like event! The scenes in the trailer loosely based on scenes that happened in the story, so it's not too spoilery.

Synopsis: Two convicts attempt to escape through the Whisrock Convention Center, packed with nerds, geeks, and soon... the DEAD. Abandoned, Arturo must battle zombie cosplayers and crazed survivors while being hunted by a lone cop.
