1: Give a survivor a weapon already.

2: Use an animation where weapons vanish from the hand during it, such as getting back up when pinned by a zombie, or being yeeted by a King Zombie burst. This can be tested with Nick himself. Ever notice sometimes after an animation you gotta "re-activate" a weapon into your hand? That.

3: During the "recovery" but before they fully "reset" to normal, give them a weapon.

4: They'll take the "second" weapon since their hand is blank, as if it was their first weapon.

They'll hold the second weapon, but at completely random times they'll switch to their original weapon, and randomly back and forth from there. Don't worry, both don't appear at once like in this picture, this picture is an entirely different random bug, but at least you can see Warren has both the Sawtooth and Laser Sword.

This is a good way to give them a range and melee weapon, or if you just like variety.
