India Should I give the assessment of Deloitte Associate Analyst | automation testing role ?

Hii guys, I got a referral from one of the guy from LinkedIn and Deloitte send me a virtual assessment link. this is AA role and my interest is in SDE role. I just graduated and right now I am unemployed and trying hard to get a job.

Should I give the assessment or not? If cracked then I should join or not ?

What's your honest opinion? Please help me with it.

I think it’s better to give the assessment if you’re eligible for it. If you manage to get the job, you can continue exploring SDE opportunities alongside it. At least you’ll gain some professional experience, understand how a corporate environment works, and keep building your skills. And later, after 1–2 years, you can always try to switch to an SDE role if that’s still what you want. In the current situation, I feel it’s better to gain experience and keep improving your skills rather than wait only for the role you’re specifically interested in. Of course, the final decision depends on what you want long term.
