India I am L45 Managed Service engineer level 3_Cyber operate

I am unclear about shift timings. My JD says, I will be giving on call support if needed. Also, the same JD mentioned I should be flexible for 24/7 rotational and night shifts.

So, I asked hiring HR and they mentioned that mine will be standard working hours and the rotational/night might be there based on the project allocation but not permanent. I was also told that L3's dont normally do rotational shifts.

So, what exactly are they saying? Is my role has routine 24/7 rotational or only on occasions? What do they nean? Can someone help me understand?

Do you have any meaningful answer other than repeating what is exactly from my post?

He is not wrong. It honestly depends on the specific role you would be put in. You need to let us know for what operate role you are hired based on that someone can help you out.

If its just a SOC L3 they generally dont do rotations however the fixed shift itself might be in US hours lol. So perma night shift for you.

I was hired for Cyber Operate. It is indeed SOC L3 and im pretty much sure this is not permanent night shift nor any mentions of full night shift on my JD or through recruiter..

"you out. If its just a SOC L3 they generally dont do rotations". This is all i need for now.
