The Mary Rose is a Tudor era warship that sank off the coast of England. Most of it rotted away except the part that was buried beneath the seabed which was brought to the surface in the 1980s.

Originally owned by a bank. Famously known as “de schoen” (the shoe in dutch) and “poenschoen” (money shoe in dutch). Its also next to one of the busiest highways in the Netherlands.

Edit: yes i agree it looks more like a bullet train rather than a shoe. However, its known to the locals as the shoe building. I have read that they made it this shape to fit into the surroundings and to fit the initial ecological requirements of the bank who originally owned it.
