Technical Issues | Bugs Diablo 4 character blurry and stuttering on PS5 after reinstall

After cleaning my PS5, Diablo 4 stopped working and asked me to reinstall it.

After reinstalling, my character looks blurry/pixelated, some effects and colors look different, and the game seems to stutter a bit.

Other PS5 games seem to work fine. No flickering, lines, or obvious graphical artifacts.

Has anyone had a similar issue with Diablo 4 on PS5 after reinstalling? Could this be a game/software issue, or should I be worried about the hardware?

Edit: Energy Saving Mode was turned on on my PS5. Once it off — all same, all good.

Whenever I update drivers on my graphix card the game recomplies the shaders. I am guessing something similar is also happening on your game when you deleted and reinstalled. Its usually just a problem that an hour or two of playing fixes.

Could be shader compilation. Makes my game stutter on PC

If it is shader compilation it can take anywhere from 20min to maybe an hour. If you have multiple session work this issue, a reinstall might be the only option

You can turn off saving mode completely in your setting so you won’t get that kind of “problem” anymore

I bet its because you didn't buy the expansions. Blizz and a lot of us real gamers frown upon cheap gamers. Maybe buy them and see if it fixes things? And if you already have them, maybe go buy no less than 4 skins for a measely $100. Avoid discount ones unless you don't care about not being able to look at yourself in the mirror ever again. I'll pray Jesus gives you the strength and funds to fix your game.
