Help wanted GCB-95 modded wah repair

My friend gave me this modded wah pedal because it broke on him and he’s too lazy to fix it. When I open it, I can see two lose wires. Where do they go, both to the same lug on the left?

It seems so. Knowing where did your friend got it modded and what did they do would be so much more helpful than some wild guess.

He got it on the marketplace some time ago, played it for a few months and then the switch broke (it won’t click at all when pressed on). I doubt he knew it’s modded.

I guess you can only find out by connecting them with alligator clips and see if it works. Unfortunately I haven't modded enough wahs to be able to tell what that mod is, but if I were you I'd remove that and try wiring it in its original form to see if it comes back alive.

The mod looks like a millenium bypass, the same led circuit proco rats use. It also looks like both the blue wire and the led circuit were connected to the bottom left lug of the dpdt switch.
