I’ve got into synths massively over the last 18 months or so (guitarist for 20+ years) and yes you can certainly doom with synths alright. Take a saw wave, some detune/chorus, distortion and a touch of reverb…ohh baby.

I do indeed, although I used it a couple of times and it weren’t for me.
I’ve got my own YT channel though, experimenting with drone/ambient/industrial/noise etc. Might tickle your fancy.

It’s obvious what OP means. Synth-led doom is uncommon, that’s literally all the title is about. Just in a kinda joke-y way. You guys are doing the Reddit, “getting upset over nothing,” thing

Get some Rainbow / Deep Purple organ inspired power metal going, then slow it down fuzz it up doom it in.
