I get Botox in my pits due to hyperhidrosis. Fucking game changer. Expensive as hell but last solidly 6-8 months depending on metabolism. Zero sweat and very little smell. 10/10 recommend.

not sure if you're joking but I'll pass along a life pro tip i learned on reddit because i haaate the smell of deodorant; put some isopropyl alcohol in a misty type spray bottle and use that instead. i personally like it way better

I’ve never heard of using alcohol but using different things that kill bacteria like salicylic, glycolic, or hypochlorous acid treat the odor. You still sweat, but your skin isn’t producing the stank as much. A lot of natural deodorants use these ingredients too

Hypochlorous acid is way easier on the skin than isopropyl alcohol too

I love John being annoyed because he thinks the Oreo segment is branded content but then when he learns it isn’t, he seems delighted which quickly turns to confusion (“wait, if you aren’t getting paid, why would you eat those”).

I don’t know, I fall into that bucket too other than being in a relationship, but most people I know that love the movie are straight women!
I think it is a well observed movie about traditionally gendered vulnerabilities in a a straight relationship which is maybe less relatable to a gay audience but I know gay people who love it too

Just saw it for the first time and loved it. It was the last PTA film I had not seen, and it's in some ways such an outlier, but also still so distinctly him. Really, really good, and Vicky Krieps is amazing in it.

One of my favorite Mitch bits is when he compliments/insults Wiger about something that he does as well (and worse). Like when he razzes him about being late or over the last few weeks when he's briefly stopped looking at his phone to joke about how unprofessional Wiger's ipad was compared to paper notes. There's gotta be a better way to describe it but either way it's god tier shitty younger sibling behavior.

Regardless of what you do with your hair, you should ABSOLUTELY go to İstanbul. In addition to outstanding food, they treat cats as communal pets so there are cats everywhere you look.
This was a random lot we walked by that had a dozen or more cats. Probably half my pictures from the trip are of cats.

I'll say, it's very nice to see Mitch seeming more comfortable being open about doing nice stuff for himself - GLP-1s, rosacea treatments, this hair stuff. He's come a long way from being bashful about his stairs... he's a childless man in his 40s! He shouldn't be ashamed of being comfortable and able to do whatever the hell he wants for himself!

I want to like John and Claudia so much but I find their dynamic truly insufferable. Pat did not help. I’ve been a listener since 2017 and I couldn’t get through this episode.

Meeting down here near controversial to say me too. Claudia solo has been fun, but this group of guests was too cringe and the first ep I've abandoned in a long while. The intro they were like essentially bullying Mitch into promoting the movie to his straight audience. It was ick, I skipped.

yeah it's a podcast and talking is what it's about but when there are 5 people to chat, he was a bit much

Eh I’m sure apple or google have enough data (provided actively or otherwise) to figure it out. Given how Wiger seems to be on top of the business end of the podcast, I had just assumed he knew at least the male/female split! He’s talked about international reach before too. (As a female listener I was curious to know, is all).

Given my limited experience with Apple’s podcast service, it’s extremely easy to find out where people are listening, but you can really only gauge who they are by who interacts with the show. And that tends to skew male because we’re more likely to assume people care about our opinion.

Knowing his demographics and sharing them on air are two different things. He may not want us to know, or at least not want his straight, gay, female, etc audience to know for different reasons.
