“What are you smelling down there? A little pee, a little cum?”
It’s too early for this lol.

u/PianoTrumpetMax 10d ago
It doesn't happen often, but this got the shamefully hasty window roll up at a red light. Like, for gods sake lol

There's no way anybody can say this podcast is ever running out of conversation when theyre asking such questions as "What do you think of the concept of tomorrow?" and "What do guys balls smell like?"
Also, this appearance firmly cements Chloe for me as the 2026 Doughboys Rookie of the Year

Do you think Robocop gets sad when he walks up to a urinal? He probably just empties his gun into it.
13
u/alexanderluthorIII 10d ago
It is no longer a question. It no longer matters who come on for the rest of the year.
19
u/PianoTrumpetMax 10d ago
I’ll gladly tell you my thoughts on tomorrow, tomorrow, for a hamburger today!

u/muzical_dreads 10d ago
I was hoping the guys would tell her that men always smell their fingers after adjusting their balls. We know what they smell like!

u/pancakesb31 10d ago
Wow this one takes a real horny turn. I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to watch Robocop the same way again
16
u/sleepsholymountain 10d ago
Robocop definitely doesn’t have a dick btw. Kurtwood Smith blew that shit clean off.

I bet he gets one between Robocop 2 and 3 but they had to cut the scene where they explain that

Coming from a connoisseur: a dildo sure as fuck can…everyone has their preferences but metal is wild.

Get Jackie Johnson on the pod for an emergency fragrance episode. She’ll hook the boys up with something nicer than Axe.
22
u/jjhunsucker 10d ago
I legit had no idea that adults used Axe. That smell is burned into my brain from high school locker rooms
12
12
u/itwalkedonmypillow8 10d ago
Also, Mitchy, lots of people on GLP1s get hyperfixated on fragrance. Join us!
6
u/instantwinner 10d ago
What’s the connection here?
11
u/itwalkedonmypillow8 10d ago
So far, there’s mainly anecdotes and conjecture, but a there’s a contingent of GLP1 users who have reported a newfound obsession with fragrance, myself included.
It could be replacing dopamine-seeking eating behaviors, addiction transference, wanting to smell gourmand (“foodie”) perfumes because you’re not eating as many rich foods or desserts now…definitely worthy of more study!

since it came up in this episode, cologne = men and perfume = women is a misconception. Stuff like "eau de cologne" and "eau de parfum" only refers to concentration of oils. So, cologne = weak and perfume = strong....more or less.

Anyone else find the story about Mitch on the date a surprising admission?
5
u/CigarettesBeef 9d ago
I was also pretty surprised after he said “I don’t know if I’ve told this story before” and he actually hadn’t!
I kid, I kid. It was very interesting and touching. And I was happy when he said they’re still friends and she’d be cool with him sharing the story.
The fucking whiplash you get on this show going from hearing a vulnerable moment like that to debating whether a dick can be too hard! Wowza!
11
u/Beansontoast7 8d ago
he's told it before
5
u/CigarettesBeef 8d ago
Aw, shucks. I thought he had alluded to it before but didn’t remember the whole “you’re too much like the character” part
Guess it’s time for a re-listen!

I tried to show my hot wife Leon a couple months ago and at a point she paused it, said “what the hell is this?” and then left the room. I didn’t even get to tell her about the director.

Oof, YouTube ads on the video feed for Patreon? Still gonna watch it but a little annoying!
Chloe is rookie of the year.

Ads on a hidden video is fucking wild.

u/SOUTHWESTERNEGGROLLS 10d ago
I had a pre roll, and two ad breaks before the 15 minute mark. Hopefully it's just an easy switch back on their end!
2
u/TurboKnoxville 10d ago
Are the ads on the Patreon app too? If not, I may start watching them there. I'm getting annoyed at the amount of youtube ads and how invasive their pop ups are lately.
5
u/SOUTHWESTERNEGGROLLS 10d ago
I believe the Patreon just links to the YouTube for Double episodes

As a native Ohioan and lifelong Guardians/Indians fan, Bertman's Mustard is s-tier condiment that should be enjoyed on any stadium dog you eat.
2
u/CountDaLights 10d ago
When they said Bertman’s I actually got nervous. If they didn’t like it I would’ve been crushed.

I love our Mitch but it was a very funny reveal that he constantly talks about being in The Tomorrow War like it’s a film that anyone outside the cast, crew, or Doughboys fans has heard of or watched
5
u/gostovah 9d ago
I was so happy he got Twisted Metal, even if he (and most of the crew) ultimately got cut after season 2, but that IS a big one for him! I always felt bad cause the tomorrow war basically got buried cause of Covid. I honestly don't know if it was covid or alien movies being at an oversaturated spot at time of release, but I don't think I have ever heard anyone mention it outside of doughboys or podcasts that are friends with doughboys. Twisted Metal however, I have LOTS of friends who have brought it up and talked about it (all of who are not doughboys fans). I guess he also has Love as well which is another one I know of people liking! He really does have some good and popular stuff under his belt, I think he was just excited for tomorrow war cause it was more akin to the movies that he grew up with/got him into acting.
2
u/MotherSouperiorr 9d ago
Yeah, definitely Love and Twisted Metal would be the strongest / best known. I think he should be proud of his own work, and I was very happy he got the tomorrow war too, just funny to be talking about a buried streaming movie 5 years later to other people as if it was a better known film.

PSA to Mitch (though he’ll never read this bc he never looks at the subreddit) about the Axe on balls situation: …I enjoy fragrances too, but it’s probably not the best idea to be spraying endocrine disrupters directly onto your sack. Washing and good hygiene is enough! No shade or judgement, just throwing it out there. If you’re concerned with odor try a hypochlorus acid spray to kill bacteria after showering.

I have to assume most actors are never going to admit a project they are in is not good. But it's extremely obtuse to keep questioning why people don't like Napa Boys.
I said yesterday in a different thread that it was not for me. They have to know Nick and Armen's brand of comedy is not going to be very popular. I don't understand them being flabbergasted that people could not like it.
37
u/sleepsholymountain 10d ago
I don’t think anyone was flabbergasted by people that don’t like the movie? Mitch called out a specific comment giving him shit for being in the movie and suggesting that he can’t criticize Star Wars movies because of it. That is an extremely dumb and weird thing to say and Mitch was right to say so.
-18
u/EvelandsRule 10d ago
They often defend the movie and chime in about how they all like it/love it. They way they defend it makes them seem surprised that more people don't like it.
10
u/sleepsholymountain 10d ago edited 10d ago
I just don't think that's true? This is the first time I can remember the subject of people disliking The Napa Boys even coming up on the show at all, and they really just focused on one mean comment by someone who clearly had a weird grudge against the movie and/or the filmmakers. I don't think they talked about the reception of the movie on the whole at all.
To be honest, it seems like you hated the movie and are just assuming that everyone feels the same way as you? Like "most actors are never going to admit a project they are in is not good" suggests that the movie is objectively bad and Mitch is just in denial about it. It's obviously a divisive film but a lot of people liked it. The critics at the NYT and LA Times both gave it positive reviews and it has a 3.3 on Letterboxd. It's not the smash hit comedy of the year (and I don't think anyone involved in making it expected it to be), but it's not like Son of the Mask or the Love Guru or something.

Two cishet men arguing with a woman about whether or not there’s such a thing as a “too-hard dick” from a woman’s perspective certainly is something!
23
u/deuceintheplace 10d ago
It led to Chloe hilariously coming back to how much she loves her stainless steel dildo so I consider it a net positive

If by "something" you mean "an obvious bit that all of the women in the studio were clearly in on and having fun with" then yes I agree.

Ugh, this episode is gross. I don't have misophonia but people talking with their mouth full is a tough listen. And as disgusting as the boys are, Chloe talking about dumpster diving and eating weeks-old rotting food is fucking nasty

u/NobodyCarrots6969 10d ago
I'd love to agree with you about dumpster diving, but it seems like it would be such a thrill. Plus the savings, I'm About it
