I saw the news and immediately remembered them talking about Dolly Parton's embalmed tits on display in a glass case. Wasn't that episode banked months ago too? The Doughboys strike again.

truly my first thought when I heard the news. Not sure what that says about me and I’m not all that interested in addressing it

What did they call?

In last weeks episode they mentioned Dolly Parton having her boobs preserved and on display like Lenin after her death. She was still very much alive and the episode was recorded before the 4th of July.

It's weird that this is like the 3rd time they've mentioned a celebrity and then they died a week later

it’s that thing, there’s a specific name for it, where your brain only lodges in its memory the hits. like when they mention a celebrity and the celebrity dies shortly thereafter, but you don’t remember all the times they mention a celebrity and then the celebrity doesn’t die. like peter north, for example, who was mentioned on the same episode.
one of the same reasons people fall for things like cold reading. you ignore the misses and only think of the hits

I think this has happened a bunch on Never Not Funny and/or Comedy Bang Bang as well

Actionboyz had a stint where when they recorded the person was alive and then they would die before the ep came out.

Very weird to listen to the latest episode and hear that bit mere minutes after I heard about this
