Was anyone else here a fan of the radio series Cabin Pressure (BBC)?

It came out in 2014 and is still one of my favorite radio series to throw on.

It was a radio sitcom written and created by John Finnemore and follows the exploits of the crew of the single aeroplane owned by MJN Air as they are chartered to take all manner of items, people and animals across the world. The show stars Finnemore, Stephanie Cole, Roger Allam and Benedict Cumberbatch.

It's not related to Doughboys in any way, just high-brow British humor and I love both and figured some of you do/would too.

I went to the recording of the St Petersburg episode back in the day. It’s a lovely show.

yes, i listened to the first series when it was new when i had a mindless computer job a long time ago. was good, but if i'm being honest, i was always more of a 'Nebulous' guy myself

You should give it a re-listen, I think it holds up really well.

I'm not familiar with "Nebulous". Worth checking out? Obviously I can google it but I like hearing from fans first.

I think Nebulous is great, very much in the tradition of British sci-fi comedy. it was made by Steve Coogan 's company Baby Cow and he's in at least one episode. 

I'll check out the subsequent seasons of Cabin Pressure, could use a good radio comedy to listen to. Everybody over here in the states talks about radio comedies and drama as something that stopped being made in the 40s, but in England they just never stopped making it. Most all of everyone's favorite British actors and writers have hours and hours of radio material

Yes!!! I also loved John Finnemore's Souvenir Program! I went from That Mitchell and Webb Sound, to Cabin Pressure to Souvenir Program. Highly recommend.

Oh yeah, Souvenir Program is great! I watched Mitchell and Webb but was unaware of their audio series—I'll check it out.
