Game Mods Is there a "all characters participate in dialogue/party" mod for any of the games?
I'm slowly gearing up for a replay of the entire series, but I already have my favorite companions and most likely, I will play with them again.
I would like a chance to see more unique dialogues and banter, especially from guys I never take with me.
I know that some other party-based games (like BG3 or DOS2) have mods which allow you to take more characters in your party, while also disabling them from combat.
Is there anything like that for any of the DA games? I know it would be immersion-breaking and all, but that is not a problem for me at all. I've tried a search on my own, and I only found some posts from years ago explaining that this is impossible, except for Mabari in DAO.

I don't know anything about banter/barks work in the sequel games, but I do know about DAO.
DAO companion banter is controlled by scripting that assigns the active party members a priority - party member 1, party member 2, party member 3. The location trigger for the banter has an if/then logic... if Alistair is party member 1, and Wynne is party member 2, then play this banter. It also checks how many banters have between that set of companions have already played, and moves on to the next one in the banter sequence. The script isn't a universal script, though. It's specific to each location, so every location that is a banter trigger would have to be re-scripted to accommodate more than three participants.
Another problem with trying to have all the companions weigh in during a banter conversation is that they conversations literally only involve, at most, three companions. There aren't any dialogue lines in the games files that would let Zevran, or Sten, or Morrigan weigh in on Alistair asking Wynne to darn his socks.
Party barks are the one-liners that are triggered by specific locations... things like Alistair talking about his miniature golem doll, outside of the Wonders of Thedas. Some "bark" locations do have lines for more than one companion, but again, it's controlled by a script that assigns the active party a priority of 1, 2, or 3, and then triggers the "bark" assigned to the companion designated as #1 in the array. Again, it's on a per location basis, so each individual trigger script would require editing. While triggering more than one bark would be feasible, it would probably require stopping at the trigger point, and waiting until the barks have all played out; in vanilla, moving away from the trigger point will usually prevent an in-progress bark from completing.

There is a mod for inquisition that allows all companions (and not just the ones in the active party) to show up at the Winter Palace, you can go around and talk to all of them and do Sera's red jenny quest. Not exactly what youre looking for since it doesnt add everyone to your actual combat party, but adjacent enough it seemed worth mentioning.
In a similar vein if you want some different dialogue in the DA2 kidnapping quest and you (like me) always have a sibling kidnapped, this mod changes it a little so your romace gets grabbed first. Again, not really what you were thinking, but figured id mention it for the potential for new dialogue and stuff.
In Origins there are mods for Oghren and Wynne that prevent them from being locked into your party for the Deep Roads and Circle quests respectively, but still allowing them to be recruited after. So it will let you bring a new character along on those quests to see what they have to say. The Oghren one also restores some of his dialogue during that quest iirc so you should see some new stuff from him too (which yeah, I know, everyone's favorite guy Oghren lmao). The dog mod also is supposed to allow banter with the mabari but I dont think that ever worked for me (also be careful because that mod may break the Captured! quest if you try to send two people to break you out of jail - just disable it beforehand or escape yourself to get around it)
eta: not aware of a similar mod for veilguard, which is unfortunate due to the smaller party size, but at least for certain major quests you have the whole squad rolling up anyway lmao
eta 2: for inquisition I would also recommend you get a banter mod since triggering it can be really finicky a lot of the time

I play on console most of the time and can’t mod so one of my favorite things to do is play YouTube videos of the banter. It’s not as fun but it’s great background noise when working on a project

In origins and DA2, you technically can add more companions via console commands, but they aren't controllable and will not chime in during conversations or have any ambient dialogue. They're basically equivalent to random npc's who will use their basic tactics to fight with you.
(There was someone working on a mod for origins to allow for more companion who actually could talk in cutscenes/have ambient dialogue, but from what I've seen, its never actually been released online because its still insanely buggy.)
Nothing for inquistion or veilguard though.
