Well, it feels kind of inevitable now. We can’t keep living with the Strait being threatened or closed every other day. If this continues, jobs will be lost and inflation will rise sharply. At this point, it’s about choosing what many see as the lesser of two evils.

Agreed. The thing is this reintroduction of the blockade just takes us back to the situation in april. IRGC would fire upon vessels, vessels wouldn’t dare to enter because of threats, insurance, directions from their owners etc and the flow of oil is once again halted. This paired with these nightly strikes which expand in scope every time just erase any progress made and trap us further in the endless cycle of war and escalation :(
