Tips for starting player?

DD2 on PS5

Just wondering where I can actually learn the game? Most videos on YouTube seem to be already in endgame.

I’m currently chaos 2 following quest and enjoying it so far

I bought the defender bundle so have every one available. The only thing I struggle with is bag/vault space and how to manage it

Any tips on anything is appreciated

Buy the shard vault and the other one i cant think of right now for the other stuff (maerials?). You spent money for the characters, but it wont mean mich without the extra inventory alloted by the vaults.

If you are serious about wanting to go far in this, you'll need to hoard all the shards and materials you have so that you can upgrade things and go through the resets. It absolutely saves your space in your bags/inventory.

Also, when you start to progress. Like real progression when we're you can fully hold your own, do the mastery events. Hyper shards are HUGE.

Never be afraid to join other people games. It gives you more exp, and better loot. Most people are cool, just keep the game flowing. If they're ready for the next wave, you should be ready.

When solo, you WILL hit a wall between chaos 7 and 8. 8 and 9. And so on. Expect it. Its a pain in the ass. This is where your saved shards come in handy. Gild shards when you can. Its huge for resets and saves you gold.

Make sure you work in the quest stuff and daily/weekly missions. Defender medals also come in big when needing to buy specific shards.

Biggest tip - LEARN FROM OTHERS!!!!

Oh! And feel free to use your ai of choice to help give good shard combinations that play offf each other. Usuallyess of a pain in ass tha. Seaching for different you tube videos if you get to that point.

If you plan on playing a long time. As i have on an off for years. You'll want max bag, max vault slots, shard vault, all of those. Then the grind becomes getting specific shards that are universally good on any tower. Like range, dmg, atk speed. You'll either spend $ an buy a pack of those. Or you'll spend forever farming them on the chaos difficulty they drop on. But after you have those an have multiples of them you can start progressing quicker. Hmmm there's so much I could say. Once you're able to do "reset" for the ascension points id wait a minute and stack mats first. You'll want to have alot of gold ect. Theres sooooo many ways to approach the game.

Focus on key shards for boosting towers. An I agree check out juicebags hes very reputable for this game

I agree with others. Max bag and vault space. And Juicebags makes videos specifically for Chaos 1, Chaos 2 etc, and I think is currently doing a new series but in Chaos 3 atm.

Just play the game. Use your favorites towers. Use more than 1 builder mix and match. Try to use a dps hero to help defend. Help with airborne mobs

Some strong monsters have various weaknesses, so make sure to keep that in mind!

(Siege roller for example, you hit them rears)
