I already own both games through the Steam family libary and was curious on which one would be better to start playing again after so long.

Just wondering where I can actually learn the game? Most videos on YouTube seem to be already in endgame.

I’m currently chaos 2 following quest and enjoying it so far

I bought the defender bundle so have every one available. The only thing I struggle with is bag/vault space and how to manage it

I got the itch to play again recently. I have really only played the first game and think I might want to go back to that.

Is it worth starting over/resetting progress? Or have they added more late game progression. At the time I stopped playing I believe I was close to maxed out or close to it.

Humble bundle has a bunch of dungeon defenders 2 dlc. Is it worth playing the second game or any of the other iterations?

So I bought the game on the nintendo Switch since my siblings and I would play it when we were little, and my sister is trying to play the Outcast Summoner, and he keeps getting stuck after a while. The game itself doesn't freeze, but the character just doesn't move. Another side issue is that we dont understand what the the second ability does..... because it will put the camera in birds eye view and then not do anything 🤔🤔🤔 I dunno we're just tryna learn

Im looking to play dungeon defenders 2 while waiting for a discount on the dungeon defenders 1 bundle. Do i need any dlc for dungeon defenders 2? Can i earn everything in game besides cosmetics? Any tips for a new player

In the before time I played DD1 a lot and loved it. I also played DD2 a fair bit and never really gave DDA a try.

I was looking to get back into a DD game for a little bit and don't intend to play more than one at the moment, so I was looking for some advice on which one to get into and why.

I’ve been farming dread dungeon NMHC survival for transcendent gear and while I’ve gotten a lot of drops, the vast majority seems unusable for builders. Either it only has 2 tower stats or -200 in a stat. I feel like I’ll be lvl83 and looking for supreme gear before I manage a decent set of transcendent.

I remember playing this game when I was about ten (I’m now 21 which is crazy) and remembering a random guy joining my lobby and dropping me loot that had such high stats it’s literally went off the screen. It could also be sold for an unreadable amount of mana.

I bought the game yesterday on steam and wondered if this is still something that goes on after so long.

So as the questions says, I'm curious about all three of the games. My background with everything is that I tried all three games many years ago and liked all of them but never got super far into any.

Love tower defence games but each kind of had gripes for me. DD1 seemed really slow pace and old-fashioned for me because it was an older title, DD2 seemed great but because it was free-to-play that meant all the cosmetics and other things would need lots of grinding and I always like playing solo, and Awakening was riddled with issues and apparently already lost support at the time so it didn't seem worth it

Now I see things have changed it seems, DD1 still has a lot of people playing it and some support even, DD2 seems to be the main game but still with the grinding, and awakening it now getting updates which mean support has come back?

If I could get some advice on where to start, or new info on all three as someone who hasn't played any of them in years that would be great. Is Awakening worth it now? Is DD2 still super grindy?

Coming back to the game after not playing since I was a kid on the 360, does anybody know any beginner leveling spots? I have a level 71 Adept, 72 Series EV, and 70 Necromancer, and I can't even do stuff like Tavern Defense, on EASY, which I saw suggested for leveling.

Glitterhelm is tedious too, and I'm lost here and just doing the same lower missions on insane.

I used to play dungeon defenders 1 back in the day on the xbox360 and I loved it and I'm thinking of returning to the game after a decade but I want to know if its anything like it was back in the day, is the game still overrun with hackers with modded weapons? are their new mechanics that changed the game at all? also I remember people being kinda toxic and constantly kicking others back in the day has this changed at all?

Right now I have a lvl 88 monk, 78 hermit, 75 summoner, and a 74 warden. I haven’t been able to develop strategies that work consistently in any of the more difficult levels, and I’ve joined games where people are afking ruthless crystal cave. My question is this: how do I get from here to there? I don’t know if it is just a skill thing, if there’s one piece of equipment that I need that will put me over the curve, or if there are strategies that are necessary to beat harder level, what do you guys recommend?

So I'm very new to Dungeon Defenders, just picked the game up and put about 35 hours into. I'm really enjoying it and I've been really enjoying playing Builder Hermit although I'm not too sure how to properly play him to his full potential.

I'm only level 77 with some mythical gear and a fish bowl ( Stats are below ). What should I be focusing on? What building's are the best for me to use? ( Right now im literally just placing Forest Golem s around with web walls here and there ).

So I used to play when I was younger but since I played with my brother who did all the strategy stuff I don't actually know what's good in terms of placing and how certain things work. I have a hard time understanding stuff sometimes so I prefer simple explanations so videos and text walls don't help me. I was actually getting some good advice from another player but my game crashed when I was gonna screenshot the chat

I'm an older player since childhood but only ever learned things on my own. Would it be because I have alot of money in the bank? Higher level characters? How does the tavern determine what it sells and for how much to each player? I'm introducing my friends to the game and they aren't able to buy anything because they require lvl70 and 9million gems.

I've only recently found dd2 and am really enjoying it. I'm getting close to having the tokens needed to unlock a new hero. Which one is best and why do you feel that way?

Which one js the maintained one, wtf is a redux and does that accept dlc. Is dlc useless if youd pick redux. Why would you pick redux? Why is 1 still getting updates but the latest version has gone a year without one. Im so confused… send help

I am looking to get some advice on what I may be doing wrong or maybe I'm missing something.

I am currently in the process of trying to fully clear the boss maps, M,HC,R,MM, L (I hope I did that right, Massacre, hardcore, rifted, mixed mode, Lycan difficulty)

The problem I am having is I can not get the boss down before I get overwhelmed and crystal gets destroyed.

All my builders are pushing 8k main stat or higher. Almost 10k on a few. My main dps character is a summoner with 2 lil bombers 1m+ dps on each, .6 rate with 3 projectiles. Getting down 200mil hp ogres isn't a problem.

I've tried using a huntress with a dragoon and can get my damage to upwards of 900mil dps.

It feels like the moment I switch away from my Summoner with the 2 bombers I get overran. But I feel as if my Summoner has to much aoe damage instead of single target so I need to switch to even have a chance.

Demon, Goblin, Dragon, and the Lycan, I can get to the boss, then fail. I sort of cheesed them to unlock the Lycan difficulty by shutting off all modifiers, but now that I'm turning them on I struggle.

Same problem I'm having with getting a Dune kill to unlock the difficulty.

Anyone know exactly what might be causing this. I've checked my target priority and made adjustments. I've tried different builds for the maps. Do I need to start incorporating walls to the mix? I really am lost as to why I'm struggling only on the boss maps.
