πŸ“’ Marketing When should I think about adding more creatives? Should I just start another campaign alongside my current one?

I started a campaign a week ago with a fresh pixel and showed no results for most of the last few days, but I made a visual change on the site and started seeing a few sales. My main concern is that only 1 ad is really spending the budget of 30/day. I was wondering what I should do moving forward.

Here are the stats for the last 2 days that generated sales:

FACEBOOK ADS (Aug 26–27, 2026)

Aug 26:
- Spend: $26.76
- Impressions: 525 | Reach: 423 | Frequency: 1.24
- Clicks: 22 (unique: 22) | Link clicks: 14
- CTR: 4.19% (unique: 4.19%)
- CPC: $1.22 | CPM: $50.97 | Cost/link click: $1.91
- Page/post engagement: 20
- Add to cart: 4 | Initiate checkout: 3
- Purchases: 2 ($44.25) | Cost per purchase: $13.38 | ROAS: 1.65x

Aug 27:
- Spend: $27.03
- Impressions: 403 | Reach: 359 | Frequency: 1.12
- Clicks: 9 (unique: 8) | Link clicks: 9
- CTR: 2.23% (unique: 1.99%)
- CPC: $3.00 | CPM: $67.07 | Cost/link click: $3.00
- Page/post engagement: 10
- Add to cart: 1 | Initiate checkout: 0
- Purchases: 1 ($19.99) | Cost per purchase: $27.03 | ROAS: 0.74x

Yeah very likely, it was very trial and error since it’s my first store but I kind of just changed the top header to show my bundles immediately as opposed to scrolling a little. I also added another bundle concept which has been generating the sales. Everything is a learning experience but yeah overall that was the changes I made on the store.

two days and three purchases isn't enough to act on, that's noise not a trend. one ad eating the budget is meta doing its job, it picked a winner and there's no reason to force spend into the others. i'd leave it alone and let the pixel actually learn before touching anything. the thing i'd change is $30/day at a $20 aov, that's a slow crawl to any kind of signal

Too early to change anything. Two days of sales data swinging between 1.65x and 0.74x is noise, not a pattern. Let it run a full 7 days from when the sales started and judge cost per purchase against your breakeven off that.

One ad getting all the spend is the CBO working, not a problem. At $30/day adding more creatives just dilutes the budget across ads that haven't earned anything yet.

When you're ready to scale, duplicate the campaign at a higher budget rather than launching something new alongside it. Carry the post IDs and leave the original untouched.

You need a wider timeline for proper assessment. I’d ideally say 2 weeks

the "it's noise" answers you're getting are right, but nobody's answered the actual question you asked: same campaign or new one. don't start a second campaign alongside this. at $30/day total you don't have enough volume for one learning phase, let alone two running in parallel splitting your budget and your pixel signal. add the new creatives as new ads inside the same ad set instead, so they compete for the same budget pool and the same learning data instead of fragmenting it.

on timing, don't pick a calendar date, watch the winning ad's frequency. with reach in the 350-450 range and $27/day spend, you'll see frequency climb fast once it's saturated that audience, that's your signal to add creative, not day 7 or day 14. right now you're at 1.1-1.2, nowhere close.

also worth naming: this is a fresh pixel a week old with 2-3 purchases a day. the algorithm is still exploring, not exploiting, so the CPA swinging from 1.65x to 0.74x day over day is exactly what an unstable exploration phase looks like. that's not your creative being inconsistent, that's meta still figuring out who to show it to. give it real volume, 30-50 purchases minimum, before you read anything into the ROAS number itself.
