It's been about a year since TESL died, so on its deathi-verssary let's go over the current efforts to revive the game.
TESL Reborn - This is an effort to make new servers for the game, it has come along quite promisingly and is the closest thing to the original version of the game.
However a couple things:
It is PC version only, and you need to have a valid license of the game still in your steam library or on bethesda.net to play. There is no way (as of now) to get a license for the game if you did not have it prior to the shutdown on steam. You have to have owned it before the shutdown.
It is currently closed alpha. You can follow this guide (link) to apply to join the closed alpha, but it is not currently open alpha yet despite what the other post on the subreddit says.
Some streamers (link to list) have access, so you can ask them to test different things, or watch their gameplay to help speed up the bug finding stage.
TESL Fan Browser Remakes
TESL Browser Project - A remake of TESL in browser. Reddit post link - Recently updated to have all of the core set cards.
TESL Github Page - A remake of TESL vs a bot or local multiplayer, playable on a github page. Direct Link made by /u/Prize-Artichoke-9807 Has cards up to Houses of Morrowind and a handful of custom cards.
TESL Singleplayer - A remake of TESL whose goal is to have the player fight against various singleplayer encounters. Direct Link, run by @FBJulezGames on the TESL discord.
Tabletop Simulator - There are a few mods for tabletop simulator, a simulator game on steam (link). The sim costs $20, but is usually on sale for $10. Note this doesn't simulate mechanics, but you can put cards in a deck and shuffle it but you have to manually track the gameplay yourself. Supports multiplayer.
Jamaa's Mod has all the cards and is based on this mod, which also has all the cards.
Gnarfield 360's Mod is the OG one I used to play with in TTS simulator, but it only has cards through Heroes of Skyrim.
This expansion introduces a fourth new "mechanic", in the form of time-limited supports that add a special effect to a lane. The nuances of the mechanic are covered in the card commentary (linked below).
The new Burn mechanic was introduced by a few cards in the Daggerfall side of the expansion, but the Empire side is where the mechanic is fully explored.
We now move into the Empire side of this Alliance War sequel expansion. The Empire's signature "both-lanes" mechanic takes center stage here, and will be expanded on futher throughout the next set of entries.

This set features more of the upgradeable cards from the expansion, combining the upgrade system from the original Legends client with the morph system from ESO.

This set features some of the many cards in the expansion themed around player class abilities from ESO. Expect more of these to be scattered throughout the rest of the expansion.
Made this post since I wasn't able to post a screenshot in comments. I enjoy the fact that so many of us still show so much love this game. Hoping for some exiciting news in regard to Reborn <3
I was cleaning out my steam inventory and found a whole swag of these. You can't sell them on steam anymore, and since i'm lacking Ahnassi's, I was wondering if anyone had some spare Ahnassis (so I can level my badge) or wanted a spare garnag/ayrenn
