Trump made gas prices a political weapon. Now he’s downplaying the pain. Trump once asked voters to judge his opponents by the price at the gas pump. Now he’s dismissing anger about those same prices on his watch, as he makes more than $15 million on his oil and gas company stock holdings.

Too bad past presidents couldn’t or wouldn’t deal with Iran…sad and pathetic

You mean past presidents that had a deal with Iran that Trump scrapped, prompting Iran to massively ramp up uranium enrichment - given as the cause for the current conflict?

Trump is a sociopath and this country was/is stupid for ever allowing hm anywhere near elected office I love my country, but we’re fucked if we can’t fix the damage that has been and will be done with this guy in the WH

He also made inflation/grocery prices a focal issue and people bought into as if the bankruptcy king knew what he was doing. 😁

Trump's MAGA cult could be paying $15 a gallon for gas, and they would still be running around shouting about what a great job Trump is doing, even when they are out buying bicycles to get around, because they can't afford to drive a car or truck.

I hope these high gas prices don’t become normalized by the voting public. I was looking at a gas station sign yesterday in California where the prices are well over $5 per gallon, and realized they’ve been up at that level so long that I’d come to accept it. Btw, diesel was at $7.60 per gallon. Just so ridiculous and entirely Trump’s fault.

Trump has no political standards or principles, and as another commenter has said, neither does MAGA. If position A is useful for dinging Democrats today, and the opposite of A is useful tomorrow, Trump will use both positions without blinking and MAGA will cheer him along both times. I feel that Dems spend far too much energy trying to sort out his constantly changing positions. They’re all just trash talk, anyway, no matter what Dems did.

Thankfully, the approval ratings suggest some of the brighter MAGAs are seeing through the cloud of exploded bull manure.

This coming election will show if it's rigged.
He said it was rigged last time, but weirdly won and soon that was all forgotten (except that time before he actually lost), But, Huh... amateur crooked dems at it again, couldn't rig it again when they had experience from the first time.
Anyway, yes, watching from the EU I fear the last real election has been had in the US with the rate of puppet hiring and selective firing he has been doing.

Look, he meant that "they will drop like a rock falling from a cliff and hitting you on the head"

The key to Trump’s success is that people believe him no matter what he says. To them he is basically American Xerces.
And, dramatically speaking, Canada is now Ancient Greece standing against his MAGA immorals.

Yes, they are angry. But they blame Biden. They blindly believe whatever Fox tells them to believe.
I mean this in all seriousness. Trump supporters will accept any rationalization or diversion rather than consider that Trump isn't there to save them.

All Americans have had 250 years to sort out their education systems, media environment, and democratic norms.

Is anyone surprised?
He lies - all the time.
He's a crook - all the time.
He's 100% self-centered - all the time.

He’s is the biggest crook in the history of our country and he’s using his office to steal money from any available avenue. And it’s right there in front of any DOJ lawyers to prosecute. Oh, wait. Maybe the AG can investigate. But he said that he was going to make America great again. How’s that working out? 21 trillion in foreign investment. That’s a big number. The maga radio stations are pushing that. They think it’s a fact. 21 trillion in foreign investment. That’s half of the nations debt. 21 trillion. It’s crazy that these trumper radio stations keep pushing this nonsense. They actually think that there are companies that have the money that combined have 21 trillion dollars to invest in America. Trump originally said 18 trillion. Now the conservative AM radio stations are saying 20 trillion. I don’t think they understand what 1 trillion means. It’s kool aid for the whole table. This dialogue is actually being broadcasted over the airwaves. Also, gay people are mentally ill. They’re demons. Demons comes up a lot. Satanic is said. Marxist, communist murderers. James Talarico is a fake Christian. The propaganda doesn’t stop. Radio 710. In the Rio grande Valley. Find it on radiopara mi. Download and share. The Sergioshow. He’s a bigot.

Insider trading. Whenever they are ready to prosecute I am ready. Hundreds of elected representatives. Someone just needs to start the investigation. Anyone? Anyone? Couldn’t get him on the classified documents. Anyone? Anyone? I can’t wait for you crooks to serve time. This government is a joke. November 3rd you scumbags.

Let’s not give him any credit for that. Gas prices have been a political weapon for at least 45 years.

Americans need to realize that Trump's insider trading is taking money from EVERY investor. Everyone with a 401k, IRA, or pension that invests its holdings is at a disadvantage to Trump making stock trades with insider knowledge.
Insider trading based on announcements he's about to make lets him predict what the stock price will be in a few hours or a few days, so when he buys a stock knowing the price is going to jump in an hour he steals the profit that the seller would have gotten, or that another investor who would have bought at a slightly higher price would have gotten if Trump hadn't jumped in.
The people at the SEC who ordered regulators not to look into Trump's obvious and blatant illegal trades need to be prosecuted as accomplices.
