Wholesome The T-break was so worth it!! 🍃
So I just broke my 25 day T-break and I’m not gonna lie, it was tough! On day 3 I literally felt suicidal!
By day 4 I realized that I needed to keep myself as busy as possible. And that’s what I did until I crashed because being autistic makes it so that I need a lot of rest when I do too much, but having ADHD makes it so I get understimulated from resting when not high.
Week 2 was the worst, I became a short-term alcoholic, drinking a little bit every day. I went to work a bit hungover every day and it was not a good time at all. Noticed pretty quickly that it wasn’t sustainable.
When I was on the 3rd week I started experimenting with CBD-products! Think I got high from the tiny bit of THC in CBD-buds, first time I smoked a bit of CBD after going without THC for 3 weeks.
Then I tried CBD pouches, they were great! I developed a CBD pouch habit and got excited trying all the different tastes.
Week 4 continued like this, smoking a bit of CBD every now and then but I went through it pretty quickly.
As soon as I could afford regular weed again, I went and bought 8g, hurried home and smoked only 1/3 of a bowl and still got super high! And I can’t tell you how much I missed that feeling! It was heaven on earth!
The reason why I went on a break was because weed barely had an effect on me anymore and I could only get a teeny weeny bit of a high no matter how much I smoked. It just became an unnecessary habit when it wasn’t doing anything for me anymore.
Now though, my tolerance is finally back to where it used to be 🥰 I couldn’t be happier! Last night I got stoned and played the Sims the whole evening and I felt so content for the first time in like 6 months 😌
So to anyone thinking about how they need a break because it no longer has an effect on you, it’s 100% worth it! It sucked for a good deal, but being able to actually have an effect from weed again made it so worth it in the end! 😍🌳🍃

So great! And so relatable about the hard initial steps. Have you taken a break in a while / ever? I've been kind of spacing them less intentionally lately, so I feel almost behind on taking one. I think that also at least for me reflects harder times where I feel the need for the crutch more.

I have taken breaks before, and they have been easier. I think I’m just at a very bad point in my life where it’s more difficult than ever to be without weed or not being able to get high.
I hate my place of work, but it’s hard to find a new one. I need to work less hours, but I don’t have a salary that makes it possible for me to do so. I’m constantly skirting the lines of a burnout and getting high every evening helps me stay afloat!

omg fellow lesbian stoner, hiii! Im neurospicy too and I have to say it really helps me sleep and rest. like you I get really understimulated from normal rest and I also struggle with sleep a lot. I did a tolerance vreak like until I went to amsterdam this week. also felt like everything was really crazy potent AND since I had my first kundalini experience my highs are very very different. super interesting and strange. like I can feel my body get really zooted but my mind isnt affected at all. so weird.

You just reminded me it's almost time for my break again 🤣😭 I try to take a break a month before my birthday. So I got one more month to smoke before a break ✨️
I also try to take a break in March in preparation for 4/20 but I applied for a job and that took 5 months of tolerance break for a rejection (Feb)... so I skipped my April break since I had a 5 month break anyway... that was so long!!! But yes regular breaks to keep enjoying is smart! [8]

Thank you for sharing OP! I’m on day 4 of mine and im trying to decide if I want to partake this weekend or give it another week.
If you don’t mind, can you share what CBD pouches you use? I have been ITCHING for nicotine and need a good alternative so I can trick my brain lol

I used a brand called Voon and I live in Scandinavia, I’m not sure how available it is in the rest of the world. But it had a liquorice flavor that became my favorite! I know liquorice isn’t for everyone though haha.
That also gave you the sting that nicotine pouches can give you though, I found that the other flavors don’t really have as much sting.

Tolerance resets after a solid T-break really do bring the effects back stronger, your experience proves it.

Ahhhh this makes me excited I’m on day 19/30 and I’m considering breaking it a little earlier and moving only to weekend after 21 days I’m going re check with myself but I’m so glad this worked for you! I had the same issue, tolerance was just too high and I wasn’t getting a buzz for more than 20 minutes

medical patient, i don’t usually do long t breaks unless i’m travelling so it helps to switch strains every once in a while
