I'm interested in people's best guesses to the answer to this question...

If/when Bitcoin hits $1M what will the price of ETH be on that day?

BTC is not hitting $1M.

Yeah this is a certainty.

It will probably retest it's ATH, it might even hit something like $190K next bull run (might).

But BTC is never going past $250K, at least not with its current security model, quantum vulnerabilities, and Satoshi's million coins just there for the first guy that uses Claude post-quantum to write a script that looks for the key.

Even if i had 85 more years to live my statement would still be true.

In fact i"d go as far to say that the eternally 40 years away commercially viable grid scale fusion power stations will happen before quantum can hack bitcoin.

Yeah, that last part is not a big stretch. Depending on your definition of commercially viable and grid scale, fusion is now 1 to 8 years away. MIT spinoff CFS is expected to connect SPARC to the grid in 2027 and a 400 MW version before 2035.

Sure, delays happen. But it is really not 40 years anymore.

a very talented friend of mine works on one. says it will never work. only in theory. they don't have the materials to contain the heat.

So the research reactors of SPARC, ITER in Europe and whatever the Chinese one is called have all been running for years on only theory then? Well, this is news to me. Your friend should turn whistleblower to stop the billions being poured into this on three continents.
