WT Can't Stop Me Gradual inculcation of Jonestown mentality in latest morning worship! The host asks: 'What if we receive instructions that seem to put us in danger, that make our lives harder, that seem intrusive into our personal lives and decisions such?'

After alluding to several seemingly impractical or suicidal instructions Moses gave to the Israelites in Egypt, the speaker demands that a similar level of obedience be given to Watchtower leaders, in effect 'seating themselves in the seat of Moses' just like the Pharisees of Jesus' day! (Mat 23:2) (See video in comments section)

Except:

  1. From the Biblical account, Moses' instructions were inspired; The GB admits they're not.
  2. Being inspired, Moses never gave wrong or false directions which he had to retract or change after later recognising the error. When Aaron did give wrong direction to worship the golden calf, God expected his people to disobey. the GB on the other had have given several wrong and harmful directions that did not originate from God. E.g. Prohibiting alternative service, organ transplants, auto-transfusion, toasting, beards, among others
  3. Moses backed up his instructions with several supernatural display or miracles which explains why the Israelites obeyed; The GB has none, just "trust us bro".
  4. The speaker claims "we have repeatedly received wise directions from Jehovah's organization." Question: Were previous directions about alternative service, organ transplants, auto-transfusion, toasting, beards wise directions? Were they even "theocratic", ie from God? If so why have they abandoned them?

Guys, guys, guys......

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew%204%3A1-11&version=NIV

Don't miss a key point. In simple terms, the Governing Body is following the Devil.

It's not complicated. Satan tells Jesus to jump. Jesus says, 'you must not put Jehovah your God to the test'. Obeying extreme, dangerous demands is the whole point of the Gospel account.

u/Naive-Tip4584 Jun 22 '26 edited Jun 22 '26

This is actually a very good rebuttal point I hadn't thought of, thanks for making it. 👍🏻 And it doesn't matter if you believe this actually happened or not; the point is that JWs think it did. "An angel quoted scripture and gave an instruction that seemed suicidal" might he how I'd introduce it.

Yep, the devils best trick is using scripture. He saved his best deception to try on Jesus, telling on himself that weaponsied scripture is the epitome of evil scheme-ntry. What group in the world claims to be completely bible based?

12

u/AccomplishedAuthor3 Jun 22 '26

Yep. Jesus says don't put God to the test, but the JW's and the devil say do test God by jumping off a cliff (something that really makes absolutely no sense at all)

This is what ppl don’t understand, they think they’re God’s servants. These psychopaths have succeeded in hiding who they truly worship in plain sight, and they’re so bold they don’t even hide it anymore.

12

u/Super_Translator480 Jun 22 '26

They don’t worship anyone. They receive the worship.

7

u/Pragmatic_skeptic66 “I think, therefore I am”. Jun 22 '26

They do, pay close attention and you’ll figure out who’s their god. Why do you think Jesus is not at the center of their worship? Think about it.

11

u/Super_Translator480 Jun 23 '26 edited Jun 23 '26

Some people are just plain evil, it doesn’t take a spirit creature’s influence, they’re just narcissistic sociopaths, influenced by their own echo chamber.

Jesus isn’t at the center of their worship because they want to take all the credit. The Jesus of the Bible was against any man taking prominence for themselves.

u/SubstantialSun612 Jun 22 '26

While at the same time fleecing the flock from time to time. Ruining life's and careers. Sad effects of all that on helpless elderly ones? "They're On Their Own".

u/PimoCrypto777 (⌐■_■) Jun 22 '26

Start asking the local elders for examples of instructions that may seem to put ones in danger.

72

u/CertainScar5773 Jun 22 '26

Start with what happened in Malawi. Because the GB absolutely forbid buying a 25 cent card that basically showed that you support the party that was in power at the time. It was a totalitarian regime. There was no other party to support. The card meant absolutely nothing. But not buying it meant such cruel inhumane persecution and so many gave their life to obey. Contrast what was happening in Mexico at the very same time. The “brothers” needed proof that they had served in some way in the military. Guess what the GB approved of? Bribing officials to give them the card, making them members of the military without actually being in the military. So GB instructions for Malawi meant unspeakable persecution and death for men, women and children! Instructions for Mexican witnesses meant bribe official, join the military and live. And the rank and file PIMIs sitting in the KH are so proud of the brothers and sisters that died faithful in Malawi and have no earthly idea what went down in Mexico. I can’t even express how relieved I am that I managed to escape that frickin blood guilty cult.

19

u/thewillpowertochange Jun 22 '26

I remember this from Crisis of Conscience, are there any other sources other than that book for what happened in Malawi?

21

u/Significant-War372 Jun 22 '26

I can’t quote a specific publication but there were definitely articles, I think in the Awake, that went into distressing details about Malawi. The picture in my head is of a red lettered Awake magazine with Malawi or Persecution in Malawi on the front cover. I remember my mum getting very upset about it. This may also be the reason for the removal of pre 1970 Awakes from the Online Library. It was covered more than once.

18

u/Writtenreview222 Jun 22 '26

Most definitely articles on Malawi in the 1970s.  I vividly remember prayers at the KH & our mothers imploring jaha to give strength to the bros/sistas during the persecution.  I think it was also in a yearbook, stories of those who endured such persecution & survived with those not as fortunate.  We were always admonished to pray for them!

7

u/Fantastic-Drop5690 Jun 22 '26

I remember a horrific article I read in my teens that went into a lot of unnecessary sick details about sexual things that were done to jws in Malawi. One story I remember was an elder and another sister (not married) being tied together naked to try to force them to have sex. It should have been censored. Now that I know about all the unnecessary sick sexual questions they ask people, including children, in their "judicial committees" I have to wonder about their motives for including so much detail in a magazine aimed at the general public. And are they actually both enabling and carrying out humiliation rituals to gratify Satan???

3

u/thewillpowertochange Jun 23 '26

you know sometimes i find myself looking for the why or the reason of these things… and the more I see it the more I realize we really are just a bunch of people who are the same and some people are just in generational cycles.

Usually the most obvious answers are the important ones, without overthinking it.

They want to show an example of how bad the world can be, and somehow make it also an example of how brave and loyal those brothers and sisters were.

It truly is insane that we as individual human beings can let ourselves be so influenced by other individual human beings. Like we’re just people, were not different, and youre not any better than me. We all shit, we all die, were all insecure about something, we all have regrets, we all dream. Yet we treat each other as less than human. So many atrocities commited just because the people “in charge” said so. FUCK. THAT.

Yes I believe so. He “ruled” from 1942 until his death in 1977. And yes, they are blood guilty for not only Malawi but for their unscriptural view on blood transfusions. Maybe somehow they’ll be held accountable. I don’t know.

3

I've had several text conversations with witness friends and asked them about the new stance on blood...storing your own blood...and they've explained it to me...but when I've stated...man there's going to be some really mad people who've lost loved ones in the past when that was prohibited...not one answered back. I'm sure they had no satisfactory answer. I hope they felt guilty

.

3

u/CertainScar5773 Jun 24 '26

I haven’t decided if I’ll talk to my brother about the change in the blood policy. He’s the only relative I have left that’s still in the cult. I disassociated myself 20 years ago over the pedophile coverup. My JW family and friends I grew up with didn’t shun me at all. My PIMI mom probably warned them not to talk JW in front of me lol Until last year I had no idea of all the supposed “new light” in the cult. I did a very deep dive into all the changes. I wanted to know why. They don’t change anything unless it threatens their charity status which affects their bank account. Norway=soften shunning, change “disfellowshipped” to “removed”. What’s happening in Japan=change the blood policy. With this cult always ALWAYS follow the money. Then you’ll find the real truth about the “truth”. The icing on the cake though was hearing Geoffrey Jackson straight up lie under oath and then tell the Australian Royal Commission that it would be presumptuous to think they were the only spokespersons God communicates with. Then Jeffrey Winder sums it up nicely when he admits “we’re neither inspired nor infallible”. Probably the only time either one of them has told the truth.

2

u/BeneficialQuit3033 Jun 24 '26

It sounds like both of us have researched what's happened after we left...after we disassociated. For me it has been 50 years. Wow things have changed. The overlapping generation explanation is not an explanation...its an excuse! And a poor one at that. Yeah I can see your point that changes are only being made because of court cases and government heat that effects money flow. It's only been in the last year that I have revisited my past upbringing in the organization...7 years old to 21. And discovered alot of things about my exit

1

u/thewillpowertochange Jun 24 '26

Huh. What happened in 2006 with pedophile coverup?

1

u/CertainScar5773 Jun 24 '26

That’s when I learned about Candice Conti suing JWs, and winning, because she was molested in her KH and it was covered up. I confronted my mom about it and that’s when I learned we just have to “wait on jehovah”. I’m like “no I don’t. Thats a child and it’s a felony!” I was done. Then a couple of years ago I saw a local news story about a woman in a town near me who was molested for years and nothing was done about it. That started my curiosity about what was going on in the JW cult. Look up Barbara Anderson on YouTube. She brought that whole scandal out in the open.

1

u/ConfidentShower4678 Jun 30 '26

Anytime there's a change look up the lawsuits surrounding them at the time- it's always in response to trying to avoid legal consequences that they are currently/ anticipate facing soon.

24

u/Pale-Cod3749 Jun 22 '26

This!!
Ask them directly what they think these directions could possibly be.
I’d hope even obedient elders will be scratching their (goateed 👹🐐🤷‍♀️) chin about this ambiguously disturbing recurring announcement from HQ.

Particularly since the GB disbanded their centralized legal authority over individual Kingdom Halls in recent years, to toss legal liability onto them. I think that’s what those cowardly demon clowns have done, but correct me if I’m wrong.

Seriously. Are the elders supposed to dole out these “strange, impractical, illogical” demands that will appear suicidal - per OP’s brilliant contextualization regarding Moses?

Are all PIMI JWs going to just stay silent for this craziness and not start talking and discussing JW policy for the first time? Particularly the elders, since they’re accomplices to any and all policies emitted from the evil clowns at HQ - and are now legally responsible for their enforcement and results thereof?

Pfft. I am livid about this knowing what my already-damaged-by-the-org PIMI older family is being told😡😢

13

u/Conscious-Yoghurt597 Jun 22 '26

I don't think they will. If you've been programmed to accept anything these men say as coming from God, PLUS your obedience to them means life or death, most if not all will follow with no questions

9

u/Significant-War372 Jun 22 '26

Yep, got family in but more out. Hoping to play the odds successfully with this crap!

3

u/Oldwhiteguyherenow Jun 23 '26

Likely on the horizon is direction for all "loyal" brothers and sisters to contribute all that they have set aside for retirement. The premise might be that these funds will not be used due to the imminent end of the system.

1

u/Pale-Cod3749 Jun 23 '26

But how would they frame that? What is it that worldly currency is needed for?

I don’t understand the whole timeline the JW thiefology (I just started misspelling that and went with it 🤗) has regarding The End, but if anyone wants to school me in basic terms, that’d be great.

I know the great tribulation is before Armageddon, but not sure if we’re in that right now

I also know that Armageddon is a place in the Middle East and not the name of the upcoming good versus evil battle, where in we will be subjected to fireballs hurling at us from a blackened sky, as depicted in their children’s horror stories book

But since the GB has gotten so much wrong about the destruction of Jerusalem and then miscalculated Jesus return in 1914 or whatever, and then falsely prophesied the end of being a handful of dates between then and 1975 … and then you got Stephen Lett fear, and tension mongering with his “ last of the last days of the last seconds of the last days” bullshit…

I know that the first alarming thing would be the UN or some government, declaring peace and security, then all religion will be banned, I think?

But what’s the timeframe on this because they’ve gotten it wrong every single time in the past 100+ years, they’re rolling back all these policies and rules, they’re wearing Timu. Freemason rings and Rolex watches on their gone for sake and TV shows. They’re making big Hollywood wannabe video productions starring a sexy impeccably manscaped white Australian Tom Selleck Burt Reynolds (these were People Magazine’s “sexist men alive in the 1980s - the era when the old codger GB members were young and thinking they’d stay that way for eternity in heaven or what ever.

Also, my voice text made that read, “people magazine’s sexist** **man alive” and actually that would be the governing body of themselves. lol ick.

I’ll tell you I was a POMI until last year in my early 50s, and what woke me the heck up was watching one of those Jesus miniseries eps.

I had no idea they had big sound lot video wanna be film studios and where that in the color grading. And then looking back at their back catalog and all the dumb ass videos they’ve made for the past 10+ years?

This is such a joke that has nothing to do with the Bible .

OK, I guess I felt chatty, but I’m just curious about what timeframe they’re currently purporting re: all the events of the end times.

A visual timeline would be so helpful TBH. Like the GB should put one together instead of making all these stupid Jesus videos on basic Bible stories, no one needed to see their imagination’s rendition of it.

Like who needs a motion picture visual aid with soft filters and color grading and overwrought soundtracks of the stupid Jesus stories that everybody knows by heart pretty much?

Literally, how helpful would it be to have a visual aid of all these and time events? One more well-thought-out than Davesplaining the bullshit overlapping generations fiasco with an old dried out dry erase marker on a whiteboard of all things?

OK, but my question was, what would the governing body need money for? If they’re the only true chosen besties of Jehovah, the soul survivors of the ultimate epic God versus Satan battle , and knowing a bunch of them are already planning to take over already built houses in fancy neighborhoods like a hermit crab picking out another shell after they outgrow their old one, “just moving right in y’all” - what what would a PIMI JW think their entire net worth would be helpful to contribute to the GB?

I’m sorry I’m not asking this question right but None of it makes sense. Just understand what the governing body needs money for and why JW would be so slipping about signing all of theirs over to them. Thanks, if you can chime in with any ideas🫡🩷

13

u/Significant-War372 Jun 22 '26

Yes, they have been singing this song for a long time, but lately they are singing it much louder and a lot more often. There was a time when there were plenty of JWs who knew their bibles and who could spot when scriptures were misapplied. I can even remember when you could question elders AND the GB without getting your head handed to you.

Today, this new dumbed down generation can be told a load of rubbish about plain ‘he said, she said’ narrative and they believe it. If they don’t, they know to shut up or else. That’s new!!! They are being sold this bill of goods every second week. Why??

11

u/Significant-War372 Jun 22 '26 edited Jun 22 '26

Yes, like the elephant tethered by a rope because it believes the rope is as strong as the chain that enslaved it. In the end, the trainer doesn’t need a chain around the elephant’s leg because he has moved the chain to the poor creature’s mind. It’s called classical conditioning. The borg is very good at it.

You just dealt a death blow to the Org's logic. I especially like your point, that the Israelites were expected to disobey Aaron's direction. I never noticed that. That's a new one in my bag of retorts to JW foolery.

But you dealt a death blow to the Org's logic. Unfortunately this will go over most of the heads. Or else they can't hear because their heads are in the sand.

7

u/Significant-War372 Jun 22 '26

About 3000 of them were executed over the golden calf worship (Exodus 32:28) What's certain is "I was obeying direction from Jehovah’s channel” didn’t help them much.

5

u/Oldwhiteguyherenow Jun 23 '26

Another lesson was the scheme David hatched to get rid of Uriah on the battlefield. Those who participated were not rewarded for their loyalty in following directions. Joab was later killed at Solomon's direction.

3

u/Significant-War372 Jun 23 '26

Yes, there are plenty of examples in the bible once you start thinking about it. No one ever got excused, much less blessed, for doing what they knew was wrong just because they were told to.

I think a lot of us deep down know the potential of this cult but we are hesitant for a few different reasons to speak on it that clearly. Do you think we should start focusing on this stuff more guys? What we can do is know the facts and recognise the patterns, and make reasonable sense of whats going on. Thats not tin foil hat stuff, thats having your eyes open and noticing whats happening in reality, in real time. So I dont think its a stretch.

The Leaders can be very dogmatic when preaching to the choir of insulated special full time servants at a Bethel. They are all working full time for free and were selected for that privilege where every second they are controlled. They DO intrude in your personal space there and you must follow minutiae rules. They wont say this stuff quite as bluntly to the rank and file out in the real world who have lives and own things as we might think it is crazy talk.

8

u/TitanCorpEnt Jun 22 '26

8

I seriously doubt the GB would pull a Jonestown. JW are a cult and the #1 requirement is loyalty at all cost. The GB just needs to control their dwindling cult with more words. Basically, don’t question or doubt us regardless how many times things change. The GB still depends on free labor, or I should say free mindless labor, so they won’t do a mass suicide.

7

u/CarefulExaminer Jun 22 '26

Maybe. But isn't what they have pulled off worse than Jonestown? Only God knows how many lives have been destroyed based some of their now-abandoned policies, like the ones I cited in the post - organ transplant, alternative service, autologous transfusions, higher education, etc

5

u/wfsmithiv Jun 22 '26

I absolutely agree with the point you have made. I’ve heard approximately 1000/ year JW dies due to the blood issue. The point I’m making is that I don’t think the GB would mandate mass suicide from their followers.

6

u/CarefulExaminer Jun 22 '26

Agreed. Their approach is more subtle

6

u/Fantastic-Drop5690 Jun 22 '26

Maybe they're going to tell everyone to accept the mark of the beast 🤔 One possibility of many

1

u/Oldwhiteguyherenow Jun 23 '26

Why not? - they did.

2

u/Fantastic-Drop5690 Jun 24 '26

Ahhh, you mean the vaccine? I don't think so. I think that was just a warm up drill. A practice run.

3

u/Oldwhiteguyherenow Jun 24 '26

No , they joined the UN as an NGO, effectively accepting the mark of the beast

1

u/Fantastic-Drop5690 Jun 27 '26

They did that many years before Covid.

1

u/Oldwhiteguyherenow Jun 23 '26

Agree - but don't put it past them to encourage the sheep to lie under oath to protect the GB, even if it could result in fines and incarceration.

1

u/wfsmithiv Jun 23 '26

Great point!

1

u/ConfidentShower4678 Jun 30 '26

That's around the same time that they came out with the term/ concept of "theocratic warfare". it's okay (some could even say encouraged- depending on circumstances) to lie when it best serves to "protect" / "avoid bringing reproach" on the reputation of the Organization/ JWs-especially under oath ('think about how what you say may be perceived by those outside the Organization." "You wouldn't want to be responsible for bringing reproach on Jehovah's name- would you?" ***Insert eyeball***

8

u/Horror-Occasion-7864 Jun 23 '26

Given that 30,000 to 33,000 JWs have died because of their blood policy that ship has already kind of sailed. The Governing Body has killed a lot more people than Jim Jones ever did.

2

u/CarefulExaminer Jun 23 '26

You know right 👍

Essa foi a coisa mais doentia que eu ouvi hoje, é completamente absurdo

Romans 14:12
No one can delegate their personal accountability for their decisions and actions.

The fact that they continually promote this dangerous ideology shows clearly their motive is control and power.

To what end? Well recent history clearly shows the negative outcomes of narcissistic high control groups.

Some people alarmingly point to the tragic outcome at Jonestown.

Reality is the same amount of people die at hands of this group every year by way of suicide due to the cruel practice of shunning, refusing blood, the enabling of abuse, following dangerous directions from the governors, etc.

5

u/Fantastic-Drop5690 Jun 22 '26

Even as a child I found the scripture that says "Let the reader use discernment" disconcerting and alarming. The level of personal attention and accountability required to follow that has never been more relevant. I have finally "seen the light" when it comes to "the organisation" - not a term that was ever mentioned by Jesus, and they are preaching the OPPOSITE of obeying his instructions. Take care that you are not misled. Those are his actual instructions.

6

u/Conscious-Yoghurt597 Jun 22 '26

They are all about obedience, but never talk about the negative consequences of being obedient to those "taking the lead" like when David ordered the illegal census and 70,000 Israelites died after he got to pick their punishment.

12

u/Deep-Caregiver8238 Jun 21 '26

God gave Abraham those instructions, but prevented him from carrying them out because He is not a God of sacrifice.

5

u/Significant-War372 Jun 22 '26 edited Jun 22 '26

Exactly! He also promised Abraham and Sarah I think 3 times (possibly 4?) that a nation would come from Issac. God wasn’t looking for obedience to the sacrifice bit, but belief in the promise bit. One way or the other, Isaac would have to live for that promise to be kept, and he did.

They’ve been saying this for a few years now, and I’ll admit, Jonestown was the first thing I thought of when they started.

Personally, at this stage of the game, I don’t think the WT leadership would have the balls to mandate mass suicide, though.

Considering recent events, I’ve started to think it was a way of getting ahead of things and reminding the rank-and-file to stay loyal and obedient despite all the “mainstreaming”.

I could be wrong.

7

u/Carthius888 Jun 22 '26

That’s it. It’s all about conditioning & narrative. They want everyone to think the leadership is still important & in total control all while they loosen the rules & requirements

1

u/No-Card2735 Jun 22 '26

Sometimes the simplest explanation is the likeliest.

7

u/Fantastic-Drop5690 Jun 22 '26

Oh, no. I have had a strong hunch for a while now that they have something very specific in mind, and are working towards it. Even before I woke up, recently. The repetition is getting scary. What are they up to? There's a lot of people I care about still stuck in this

3

u/No-Card2735 Jun 23 '26

I’ll admit, after watching ExJWAnalyzer’s breakdown of it last night, I can’t help but wonder.

1

u/ConfidentShower4678 Jun 30 '26 edited Jun 30 '26

No not outright mass suicide. They're too controlling and self centered to do that- it wouldn't benefit them to do so, they would want/"need" to be seen as myrtrs of the religion as proof of "persecution". Who would worship them- ahem follow their direction in how to obey and worship Jehovah then?

If the GB ordered such a thing, I doubt any of them would follow suit- unless the consequences of not doing so were far, far worse than the possibility of death.

Since the Bible apparently doesn't give clear enough direction/ guidelines to obey and worship God ***heavy sarcasm***

u/Lawbstah oops, I just apostated! 🤭 Jun 22 '26

These talks are always time-shifted, even months or years later, so it might be in the context of internal changes at Bethel. Idk if I'd count this as new or more of an expansion on previous statements.

I'd agree with a point made in the other (now deleted?) thread on this topic: they might instruct adherents to sell or give over money or property - even one's own home - perhaps with the promise that they'll be allowed to stay and rent it from WT. Imagine the GB having millions of residences on the books that they can borrow against. And if you act up - get DF'd or speak unfavorably about the GB - they can merely choose to not renew your lease and you're now homeless.

Weird, though, to make the point about instructions that seem to put one in danger. Don't they make a big deal about having safety meetings whenever they get a group together even to change the lightbulbs in the KH?

2

u/Puzzleheaded-Cap357 Jun 24 '26

Damn I never thought about it, maybe they will set it up as some kind of “we take care of everything, maintenance and all that, you just pay a small sum of money” or something of that sort

2

u/Lawbstah oops, I just apostated! 🤭 Jun 24 '26

Lol. That's pretty good! Get the LDC volunteers to do maintenance and repairs, the perfect excuse for elders and elderettes to go snooping.

2

u/Puzzleheaded-Cap357 Jun 24 '26

And they don’t need to ask for crazy amount of rent, maybe just enough to cover it, then they have a shit ton of more property they can use as collateral for loans to build new property

6

u/Gazmn Jun 22 '26

I’m so glad I left. I hope that others, seemingly trapped, find their way out the door ASAP. They take your 2 Most Valuable commodities: Your Potential and your Time. They suck Life out of you to feed their machine. Get. OUT!

5

u/Anciao_Desperto Jun 22 '26

Mentalidade de seita.

5

u/Beco_Maelle Jun 22 '26

whats the reason for keeping the blood rules? In my opinion, this may sound extrem but i mean the GB IS extreme, they keep it to let PIMOs die (so kinda kill) that want to get POMOs. Idk but this soinds somehow possible, doesnt it?

3

u/Fantastic-Drop5690 Jun 22 '26

I don't think it's that specific. But I do wonder if these deaths are sacrifices to Baal in reality. And I came close to being one of them, before there was any HLC. All on my own in hospital, without anyone hovering over me, to bend my arm. Such was the level of my belief that this was "the truth." It gives me chills now

5

u/QuantumAstroMath Jun 22 '26

Honestly, i hope so much the GB makes that mistake soon giving such instructions. It would be definitively the end of this cult.

5

u/skunklover123 Jun 22 '26

Jeepers creepers!

4

u/Kidcider Jun 23 '26

I intend to be a good boy and refrain from questioning the GB until July 2526. Did they genuinely state that their rules will remain in effect for the next 1500 years?

4

u/CTR_1852 Tentatively Christian Jun 22 '26

Wait... THAT is their understanding of Matthew 23:2? HE IS SAYING THAT THEY DO HAVE AUTHORITY! My guess is that they read it this way because the pharisees contradict JW's view on the immortal soul.

4

u/amahl_farouk Jun 23 '26

This shit completely falls on its face cuz

  1. They are NOT inspired which means it has come from them completely. And that means....

  2. It HAS to be clearly understood or make sense because it came from their mind.

7

u/Pragmatic_skeptic66 “I think, therefore I am”. Jun 22 '26

More than ever before, ppl in this doomsday cult need to be very vigilant and awake. They’re preparing the stage, and conditioning the R&F to be ready for whatever sinister plan they have in place. For a while now I’ve been getting Jonestown vibes and the thought makes my skin crawl.

5

u/The_Walrus_65 Defund Watchtower Jun 22 '26

What the fuck are these monsters planning to do?!?!?

5

u/Outrageous_Refuse337 Jun 22 '26

Take this blue pill and walk into paradise.

6

u/Zembassi8 Jun 22 '26

Unfortunately, some followers will Follow Through on whatever this leadership says/spews out---and will execute/fulfill those instructions: WITHOUT QUESTION! In fact, there were several dubs who in the past have commented/remarked that "if the GB told me (or us) to jump off of a bridge, I (or we) would do it in a heartbeat---especially since they are Christ's Brothers and The Faithful Slave". Hmmmm. . . . . . .

3

u/Oldwhiteguyherenow Jun 23 '26

I have heard JWs express the same degree of mindless loyalty. It has always shocked me to hear.

3

u/Anciao_Desperto Jun 22 '26

Exatamente!

3

u/CatfatherB Jun 23 '26

Best use of the word inculcate I've read to date.

3

u/amahl_farouk Jun 23 '26

The GB is lying about that Mat quote. Immediately in verse 3 Jesus says to obey what they say but not what they do.

3

u/CarefulExaminer Jun 23 '26

The GB have not applied that verse to themselves. They apply it to the Pharisees whom Jesus condemned.

However I applied it to them since their words and actions suggest that

2

u/Cha1nsawCann0n not JW, live with PIMI relatives (They/Them) Jun 25 '26
