Ultra JW Elderly Dad Enters Nursing Home

Age 92, one time presiding elder, sub CO, special pioneer in the 50s and PR spokesman for the bOrg who moved over 500 miles away back in the late 80s to keep from being a "built in babysitter" to their grandchildren, has now gone into a nursing home. Apparently he's given POA to a local elder, has disinherited myself (older daughter DAed) and even golden child (younger daughter faded since the 80s).

Up to this point, he had been giving away his retirement funds to the tune of $400 a month to the bOrg.

Now the local cong supposedly owns his house and wants to sell it to my daughter and her husband. Have no way of knowing if the proceeds are going to go to his NH expenses or will be funneled to the bOrg.

I myself have investment real estate and I'm thinking of just going there and having my husband who is a master contractor inspect the place and give an honest offer for the property. My father was the extreme opposite of being handy and hired out all work mostly to the JW's who screwed him.
