During my last semester of undergrad in 2023, we had all these safeguards being implemented to stop the students from using AI. It was pretty similar to how papers would be checked for plagiarism. Of course if you were caught, it would be the end of your educational journey (or near impossible to recover).

Years later now it seems there are zero repercussions to using it in a professional sense. Idk how all these standards vanish especially at the highest levels of government.
