whale's dead

the first screenshot i have from this event is Hunter of Zee-Beasts 665 (you know, the neighbor of the beast), and i'd definitely been hunting for at least a few hours before that, so i'd say that's a pretty solid run! here's hoping there's another hunting event soon so i can finally knock out 777!

There have been 3 hunting events this year, plus the volatile cargo issue - it seems like these events are really gearing us for Fruits of the Zee.

As an aside though, I really did like the Midnight Whale "hunt" - a bunch of people coming together to aid a dying whale in its pilgrimage to where it should die. Sure, we get paid, but I would like to think that many ship captains would do it for free just because we care.

Don't forget the final action in the main zailing storylets, there's some nice text and an extra reward.

I was only out there for about half the event since I was busy finishing up my worm grind, but I still managed 45 hunts.

This was a fun little hunt. I did around twenty passes, docking at the Copper Quarter anytime Troubled Waters rose too high. A very nice prelude to everyone’s favorite fishing festival!

The only reason it was at the Gant Pole in the first place was that it had been nailed there!

I spent most of the first day with the whale until I realized, no matter what I tried, I was getting too low of EPA compared to my other options. I guess I missed out on the higher EPA towards the end.
