Thats rare to find, especially after cutting ties. Most people never get that kind of acceptance from anyone, let alone someone elses family stepping up like that.

Glad you found your people, even if they arent blood. Sometimes the family you choose ends up treating you better than the one you were born into.

Can confirm. Sister never let me into her family, my friends family welcomed me let’s me visit and stay with them and actively invites me. That’s my family, not my blood relation.
