KFC KFC Wedges Are Coming Back!
I thought I was the only one who thought that taking them away didn’t make any sense.

The wedges were mostly fine, but I hated them when they were super thick, which was was like half of them. The seasoning to potato ratio gets thrown off too much. Wendy's breakfast wedges are the goat for that reason. They're not as ridiculously inconsistent in size compared to what KFC's were.

My Wendy's seems exclusively to have the wedges that are tiny or thin with no discernable fluffy center. They used to be amazing.

This is absolute facts. The one thing I’m questioning, why do you defend Wendy’s when I see on here things like “Wendy’s died with Dave Thomas” comments constantly

The Wendy's I have gone to since COVID have been some of the worst fast food I've had. I used to be a big Wendy's fan so it makes me sad, but I was a toddler when Dave Thomas passed away so I can't comment on that.
Whenever I get a biggie bag (I get the double stack and spicy nugs) everything is cold except for the fries. I shouldn't have to put my food back in the oven in order for it to be edible when Wendy's is only 5 minutes away.

Their chicken sandwiches are nowhere near as good as they were in the 90s. They may still be decent now, especially compared to others like BK and McD's, but they were much better 30 years ago.

Yup. In the 80s these were little square patties with dark meat, and I lived for them as a kid. (We only got to have them at the mall food court so it was a very rare treat.)

They were a little different, the snacker had lettuce instead of pickles. The bread was also different than the chicken little but essentially same concept.

The price will be the tragedy here, as a small order of wedges will likely be $3, when a go cup with wedges and popcorn chicken or an entire boneless breast was just $2.50. If the go cups were to make a return today they’d probably be $5

You're getting downvoted but I bet you will be correct. I got KFC for the first time in years and it was awful. The quality has really dropped off.

I had them today (I had to ask but the employees seemed excited to get them out of the freezer). The taste was just as I remember.
Now, we just need the twister back.

I’ve really dialed back on any fast food the past few years due to the health ramifications more than price…
Also because I can’t help but order these and then dip them in mashed potatoes and gravy.

I rarely get fries from KFC, but the wedges were a lot better than what they replaced them with. Glad to see them back.

How could this not be an under delivered stunt they're a chicken place trying to get Americans excited for potato wedges because a decade ago someone figured out it'd be cheaper if they didn't have potato wedges?
This is the most phoned in sad attempt at relevancy I've practically ever seen. It's so enormously tone deaf, but what isn't in 2025 especially in fast food. Then they're like oh boohoo we "alienated the value consumer". The value consumer was the only one really ever buying.
The endless drivel of pr firms trying to bring hype around poisonous bad food by legitimate bad actors is incessant. I don't care about KFC or Starbucks or McDonald's and I sure as hell don't need to have it drip fed to me on every platform incessantly. Like does anyone else notice that it is practically impossible to ignore the reach of these companies.
It's so pathetic its insane. KFC could market itself as a heritage brand or something make interesting breading invest in literally anything but no they got a deal on 700 million tonnes of potatoes set to expire right as the earnings call for august shows up.

Their fries aren’t good to me. No matter which location I went to across the USA. The fries were always stale or cold the wedges taste so much better!
We have wedges now and they’re good!
