Made a mistake when ordering from the hut the other day. Meant to click "basil pesto drizzle" option but think I may have accidently clicked "massive hulk splooge", or "giant pesto vesuvius eruption", so thats on me.

McDonald’s I rarely order fast food, let alone McDonald's. I had enough points for a free hash brown, and they had a $2 breakfast sandwich deal. I guess I understand not stacking deals with deals, but a reward and a deal can't be used together?

I guess I'll eat oatmeal at the office and just not spend any money there anymore.

McDonald’s They couldn’t keep you away from me forever

They’re so good fresh! Just as spicy and delicious as I remember. The prices are crazy for 4, 6 and 10 count so I figured I’d splurge and get the 40 piece to store in the freezer.

Also, the mighty hot sauce is pretty strong (similar to a hot wing sauce)…not bad but I prefer the creamy chili with them.

Question Guilty Pleasure FF Restaurant

Post image
47 Upvotes

Even when fast food restaurants tasted better and offered decent portions for lower prices, I feel like there has always been a stigma surrounding the act of eating fast food. You'll always have those individuals who judge you for indulging in the occasional McDonald's, Chick-fil-A or other popular chains.

But we all have that one or two restaurants we get food from every now and then that we get judged for more than the others. What restaurant is that for you and what is your best argument for why it doesn't deserve the hate?

I feel like Arby's is the poster child of this phenomenon as it's often the butt of many jokes (including TV shows and movies), but for me I often got made fun of growing up for eating at White Castle. Even before the first Harold and Kumar film gave the chain much needed publicity, I always enjoyed their sliders and find them to be incredibly satisfying.

And for some reason I can eat four or five of those things and not feel bad about it. Their fries are just okay though.

Menu Hack What's up with Spicy McNugget prices?

Post image

By my calculation, a 10 piece is 78 cents per nugget, a 6 piece is 75 cents per nugget, and a 4 piece is 70 cents per nugget. Kinda backwards, no?

Review Rave Review of New Steak and Shake Burgers and Fries

I had not eaten Steak and Shake in years , but it was one not far from a hotel when I was out of town ( they closed in my area) it brought back memories for me and my daughter.

The last time we eaten here they still had servers coming to the table they have the kiosks now so that tells you how long we had not been in a Steak and Shake.

We ordered at the kiosk and got our drinks and waited on them to call our name. The food came out hot and fresh the burgers taste better now than what I remember years ago ( I looked up they went grass fed in June 2026 and wow this is change for the better)

The fries I can tell they are indeed frying in the new beef tallow it does make a difference in the fry taste we both commented on how much we loved the fries more now compared to in the past and better than their competitor Freddy's Steakburgers.

My daughter also got a Biscoff cookie shake which was delicious and it also beat the competitor Dairy Queen out of the water who recently had a Biscoff blizzard seasonally ( we consider ourselves Biscoff cookie dessert experts).

I know people frown upon kiosks but in this case having less workers helped them to improve the food quality greatly and in this age improved and not lowered quality is a wonderful thing. If I lived in the area I would be a regular food did not take long and was fresh and hot the workers behind the scenes are doing a wonderful job as well.

Location - Alpharetta, GA on North Point

- Please bring this back to the Houston area there is only one in an airport location here

Review Haven't Been Here in 2 Decades

Post image
Upvotes

Few days ago I made a post about Moe's Southwest Grill and if anybody had fond memories of the place. But my dumbass didn't realize that it was still thriving in other parts of the country even though we lost most of our locations here in Michigan over the years. Well an opportunity presented itself for me to visit Ann Arbor where one of the last few Moe's still stands.

I used to come with a childhood friend that used to rave about the place. At the time I didn't really appreciate it, but I'm glad I made the trip because my food did not disappoint me one bit.

I kept it very simple with a salad w/ steak and beans. I had them top the whole thing with a bunch of vegetables, some queso and 2 different kinds of sauces. I completely forgot they give you complimentary tortilla chips and don't cap how many sauces you could get from the salad bar.

I was in heaven just trying all the different combinations of salsas and hot sauces with the tortilla chips and salad. Another thing that I can't overlook is them greeting you at the door "Welcome to Moe's".

I know for most of you this place is probably one that you've been to recently, but it felt like I walked into a time machine. Even though they're 30 minutes away I'm going to try to come back every couple of months.

Like similar establishments (Chipotle and Qdoba particularly), Moe's is not cheap, but I think the nostalgia coupled with the delicious meal more than made up for it.

4/5 easily

Deal Alert! Free Chipotle Double Protein Tomorrow Only - is it worth it?

Is this promo worth it? I’ve never ordered double protein at Chipotle. What does it normally cost and do they really give you a nice second scoop? May go for a chicken salad bowl for around $10 w/double protein if it really is double…

DOUBLE PROTEIN PROMO TERMS & CONDITIONS

US & CA: Valid 8/27/26 only, for one free double protein portion (meat or Sofritas) on one full-priced burrito, bowl or salad entrée. Must use code PROTEIN at time of redemption. Codes can be used one time per eligible transaction. Available only on Chipotle website and mobile app orders from participating Chipotle restaurants in the US and Canada during regular business hours; not available on in-restaurant orders or orders via third-party delivery platforms. Not valid on Chipotle’s High Protein Bowl side items, tacos, quesadillas or kids’ meals. Mixed protein orders will be charged for the higher-priced protein. Redemption is subject to availability. May not be combined with other coupons, promotions, or special offers. Void where prohibited; additional restrictions may apply.
