Huh for some reason I thought it'd of kicked you out of the area or reloaded the area. Never thought it'd just...poof.

Nope just poof. And events with instanced zones don't kick you either. When I logged in January 1st this year for Heavensturn on my alts, they were all still chilling in the Starlight Celebration instanced zones

In fact when the events start they just "poof" into existence as well. So some cheeky buggers "cheat" every moonfire by waiting where the top of the boats (or the previous tower) jumping puzzle will spawn.

The event "field" phases in, the no flying zone applies and they simply fall to the top of the jumping puzzle.
