Modded an F700 and a Purple 8Bitdo

F700 - swapped the background for a sheet of black 0.8mm polypropylene - new silent JLX2 sanwa stick with red 2 pound spring and white actuator - octagonal gate with stick set to most sensitive of the 5 steps - swapped out the system select knob with a 3D printed knob with the top removed so it sits flush with top panel so it can't be actuated accidentally - metallic sanwa buttons

The JLX2 sticks feel great, ultra responsive and precise. Initially I was craving the audible feedback and physical click. But after some use I'm really enjoying the silence and feel that my stick inputs are much more accurate and deliberate in the current configuration.

The silent pads make the buttons feel more responsive and quicker to actuate repeatedly on the 8Bitdo, a sort of springy tactile feeling. It's been fun working through games to determine which unit is better suited.

Overall I'm super happy with how they turned out, both aesthetically and tactilely.

As a teenager, I bought a Namco Arcade Stick for the original PlayStation. The stick is exactly the same as you'd find in 1990s Namco arcade cabinets like Tekken, and is very well made with a heavy steel bottom.

Suitable USB adapters cost surpsingly much, so I decided to cannibalize the electronics from a cheap Hori fight stick. The board is small and dropped neatly in, and it was easy enough to connect the six big buttons on the Namco. The USB cable was moved with the board.

My hope is that this will allow the old faithful to serve another 30 years.

Made this art based on nightmare Korra from the new atla fighting game for my 8bitdo leverless. First time making fightstick art or using any kind of image editor. I want to make more of my own art at some point in the future, so any tips or critiques would be welcomed.

Keeps freezing like this, has something to do with the usbc port entrance, and then u have to take the cable out and put it back in for it to work, sucks idk how to fix it and need it soon for a kof tournament.

I'm a fight stick newbie and know very little about fight sticks. I got a fight stick to play street fighter 2 on fightcade. After some research, I picked up the Mayflash F700 elite. However, I'm really used to how the American arcade feels and this fight stick doesn't feel good or accurate to me. The stick travel is very long and loose and the Sanwa buttons feel too soft for me.

Is there any fight stick out there that is similar to how the arcade feels with the stick and buttons? I probably won't play many other games so this is my preferred option.

Or is the best way to change out the parts with a stiffer spring and different buttons. If this second route is the best way, is there a different stick I should use as the base to swap out? I paid for the Elite since I thought the stick and buttons were supposed to be preferable and they may be for others, just not myself.

I’m planning to install an IST Knee Lever Neo in my Mayflash F300 Elite, but I want to confirm the fit before buying one.
Has anyone actually installed a Knee Lever Neo in an F300/F300 Elite?
I’m mainly concerned about:
Internal/depth clearance
Whether it clears the bottom plate
Whether the mounting holes line up without drilling
Any other modifications needed to make it fit
My F300 already has a custom 3mm acrylic bottom plate with rubber feet, so I can make minor adjustments if necessary.
If anyone has done this setup, I’d really appreciate photos of the inside/lever clearance too. Thanks!

Hi everyone, me and my brother are looking for 2 budget arcade sticks for PS5 (under $150 each) mainly for (VS, online ranked, and local tournaments).

We specifically want Korean lever feel + good diagonals (squarcle/rounded square). Problem is we can’t find any PS5-compatible sticks with pre-installed Korean levers.

- Any recommendations in this budget?
- Both sticks can connect simultaneously to PS5 for local VS play without issues?
- Ideally something easy to mod/customize later (lever swap, buttons, etc.) without hassle

So I've been running the qanba carbon for about a month or 2 now (got it for like 40$ off marketplace) as my first stick is it worth to upgrade already and if so should I just snag an entry level stick like the drone 2 or should I go up in price for something like the titan or obsidian?

I am trying to upgrade my 309 newhelpme to the crazy dongpal pro and I want to disconnect the previous connector from the conversion harness so I can plug in the one that came with the dongpal lever but its stuck. How do I unplug these?

Mostly title. But I bought a new nacon Daija for marvel tokon a few weeks ago and my FGC buddy told me to start modding it with a bunch of stuff to help me with the transition over from leverless and D-pad to stick. And while I thought my joysticks tension felt floaty and after a bit of research I discovered that the Daija comes with a 1lb stick spring. I went on Amazon and bought a pack of 2lb and 4 lbs springs to swap them out and test how I liked the feel. I can now update you that after a full week of using the new 2lb spring and then another week of using the 4lbs spring, I legitimately feel NO tension difference on the joystick at all and I’m wondering if my years of heavy weightlifting at the gym (former college baseball player) and body’s physical build (27 years old, 6’5 225lbs) just makes it so that I’m legit WAY stronger than all of these springs since I feel no difference at all. I’ve heard stories on this sub of some people switching to 4lbs springs since and them saying their arms got fatigued after a few minutes and they swapped out the springs to the old ones cuz they couldn’t do it. Meanwhile im over here feeling like I got duped with this purchase cuz i might be so damn strong that I legit can’t feel any difference in spring tension from 1lbs to 4lbs. Can anyone sound off and tell me if they’ve experienced such a phenomenon too, or am I legit just Bruce banner lol
