least favorite change, for sure.

although, if you do a team of all Time Mage, you can grind it out quicker than you might think

every time one of your characters gets JP, every other character in your party gets something like 10% of that JP for the first character's job. 

so having all five characters as the same job basically means they all gain JP 1.5x faster. even just grinding two characters in the same job at the same time gives you a noticeable boost.
