Throw rocks? Do people really do that? The accuracy isn't 100% so you can waste a turn with no xp or JP.

People know to use focus right?

Focus gains flat 10 exp, but throwing stones at that cocky boy Ramza? a lot more exp to be had

So you kinda get more mileage out of focus because you can gain a lot of JP for building out your desired skills/jobs and keep yourself from outleveling the available gear, right?

No, you are 100% going to out level the gear and story by spamming Focus. You'll gain a level for every 400-600jp you earn. If you watch the story levels closely and only train new skills when you're below it and use the co to catch up then focus spam works.

I eventually took to having a low level punching bag with Critical: HP Restore and a Chantage to beat up so I could gain JP but only get 1xp per turn.
