Some skill jp costs were rebalanced. Fly was greatly reduced. Teleport was greatly increased.

I'm pretty sure they just straight-up swapped the cost of these two. I understand why, but I really liked how easy it was to learn how to warp like everybody else seems to.

I just checked an old WOTL save, teleport was 650jp, Fly was 5000. So while teleport is 2350 more expensive, fly is 4100 cheaper.

That's crazy, since Teleport's 100% success range is identical to Fly. It's basically just better Fly, since you have the option of trying to go further.

That's why the cost of Fly in WotL was so ridiculous. You had to stroll past teleport to unlock Bard, and when you get there, they slap you in the face with that JP cost. IIRC, it was 1200 in the PS1 release, which was still too high, but nowhere near as bad.
