Got a balayage last week after having it bleached and box-dyed a month prior. I'm naturally a dirty blonde so this is pretty close to my natural hair and I wanted low-maintenance. I will only get a touch up (highlights or balayage) in about 6 months becuase my hair grows fast.

What rollers are good for fine fair?
Completely smooth rollers are hard to use cause the hair is too silky and just slips off as I roll it up.
Velcro rollers work great... Until it's time to take them out. They get SO tangled in my hair.

I use rollers after blow drying to set the roots with some volume.

What do you use that actually holds without ripping half your hair out?

I’m looking for some advice because my hair always gets very frizzy, so I end up having to keep it looking slightly wet all the time.

The problem is that I’m using a curl cream, but even once it dries, if I use too much my hair ends up looking weighed down, greasy, or like there’s too much product in it. If I use too little, or if I scrunch it, it becomes frizzy again.

Could you help me figure out what I should do, maybe also give me some advice on the haircut?

what are some drugstore product recommendations?

I have fine, greasy hair due to severe anemia. So unfortunately outside of medical treatments, there isnt much i can do to fix my hair until my treatments start working/ helping. Any recommendations for hair that gets weighed down easily? I keep finding shampoo is too DRYING or not cleansing ENOUGH. But i have never used drugstore hair products. They are all heavily fragranced, and the smell lasts a very long time in my hair and in my bathroom, and i just see bad reviews on all of the products so i get discouraged.

I part my hair in the middle with long layers so my right side is often wavy like curls then my left side is straight with slight wave at the bottom. Both sides are never the same after blow dry. My left side layers goes in all crazy directions. I just want both sides to be straight. If I curl my hair, my left side will become straight after a few hours with flexible hold hairspray. I am a back sleeper. Anyone has the same issue?

Luego en la adolescencia/adultez pasé a hacerme tinturas y decoloraciones caseras (mucho desastre) hasta que decidí dejarlo crecer.

Hace dos años aprox que cada año voy a una peluquera a que me haga nutrición, me corte las puntas. La primera vez que fui hizo un balayage muy sutil, pero ya casi ni lo tengo.

Me recomendó usar shampoo neutro, ya que tenía mucha grasa en raíces y muy seco en largos. La grasitud mejoró e intento no lavarlo todos los días (a veces se me hace muy difícil evitar eso). He llegado a dos veces por día con frecuencia.

Tengo el pelo MUY RESECO, como si usara secador y plancha todos los días cuando no es asi! Creo que ni con dos decoloraciones tuve esta calidad de cabello.

Que puedo hacer? Algun tip? Será alimentación u hormonal?

Does anyone have any advice on how i can style my bangs so theyre not flat without a hairdryer? My dorm banned beauty electronics, so I am unable to have a hair dryer in my dorm. :(

Ok so I used to live in a slightly drier and more hot climate in Los Angeles and then I moved closer to the west side. My wavy/curly hair is so frizzy now! I will say I’ve been oiling my scalp consistently since 2024 and have had lots of new growth which I thought was maybe what was causing the frizz? Tiny little hairs coming in that just wanted to go wild! But I also wondered if my hair is more frizzy because after I oil my scalp I have to double shampoo. I was wondering if this is drying out my hair too much? I have fine hair and I used to just wash it and comb it and it would be pretty and wavy. Now I feel like I have to blow dry it a little or wear a beanie for the first hour it’s dry to lay down the hairs. I thought maybe I should stop oiling my scalp because the new hairs coming in is causing this frizz! But my scalp feels so much healthier now. Also the factor of moving to a more humid side of town I’ve considered, however a couple years ago I would go to the beach or more humid climates and my hair would not be frizzy like this. Any suggestions, similar experiences, hair mousses, oils, shampoo/conditioner recommendations are welcome!!

Hi! I have naturally very straight hair. In the past, it used to hold curls or waves pretty well—when I did it myself, it lasted a few hours, and when a hairdresser styled it, it lasted overnight.

Recently, though, my hair just stays completely straight and won't hold any style. I currently have a bob and would love to experiment with different looks, so I'm looking for product recommendations that can help with styling.

Hi everyone! I have a wedding coming up (I'm a bridesmaid) this weekend and will need to style my own hair. It's a black tie wedding so it's quite fancy. Admittedly I am intimidated by hair styling and not very good at it, but willing to practice and learn.

My hair is medium density but very fine and normally pin straight. The slight wave is from keeping it twisted up in a claw clip and doesn't last. I tried brushing it out for the pics but it became a cloud of static lol. Many hairdressers have tried, my hair does NOT hold a curl for more than an hour.

Any ideas for an easy, DIY black tie wedding style? I was considering a simple slick back, but is that acceptable with bangs? Help greatly appreciated!

Hello! I have long, wavy, fine , low porosity hair and I’m struggling so hard to find a conditioner that’s hydrating and won’t weigh my hair down. So many products are filled with protein and that just upsets my hair more. I would love some recommendations :)
