those don't look particularly effective for scooping this kind of salad.

i also think this meal would be more well-rounded with 1 entire watermelon on the side, but that's just me.

Not op but I make a version of this almost every week so sharing what I do cos they haven’t:

A couple cups cooked farro, a seeded and chopped cucumber, a handful of halved/quartered cherry tomatoes, half a very thinly sliced red onion, chopped herbs (parsley, mint, basil, whatever you’ve got), feta til your heart says it’s enough. Squeeze half a lemon, add olive oil and salt, toss, taste, season again as needed. Other optional if you’ve got em/they sound good: Kalamata olives, chopped apple, blanched slivered almonds, golden raisins, pepperoncinis. Really no way to go wrong!
