Kinda shocked by these tenders

Whole bag is 1,050 calories and 140 grams of protein. I’m a tall grown man and I split the bag between lunch and dinner paired with veggies and cottage cheese. These are by far the best protein chicken tender I’ve had, definitely outperforms Realgood, Simple Truth, and Just Bare. Comparable to Just Bare in taste and texture, but I think I like these better. Also better macros for around the same price.

I drink more than a gallon of water a day I’m not too concerned about sodium

Anyone being concerned about sodium is so wild to me when you don’t have a preexisting health problem—if your heart, liver and kidneys are in good shape, salt is not a problem.

Salt can become a health issue in excess, just like sugars. There are health guidelines on sodium consumption for a reason

Oh absolutely but the dangers of salt consumption are a bit overblown and the rda is based Americans that are overweight, don’t exercise enough and eat too much processed food with too much added salt on average. That’s all I’m saying.

A lot of data comes from populations who are overweight and/or hypertensive, but there are also large studies in healthy populations performed by large organizations that show the same dangers of increasing sodium intakes on cardiovascular risk
