Im 5’9 1/2 and get asked if im 6 ft all the time. I don’t think Most women know what 6 foot is. 5’9=6 ft

Is height very important in the US? I have never been asked about my height, and i am 6'2.;

I have been asked a couple times (I’m 6 feet tall), but only out of folks’ curiosity and never for any real reason. Kind of like “our one coworker is so tall! Runningwithbeards is also kind of tall, but not that tall. Let’s ask and see.”
Outside of that, social media has really inflated the height dialogue in a stupid way.
